FIFTEEN Marie stood at the ocean’s edge and tried desperately to connect with Myra. She held the last bit of remains and willed her mind to be clear, but to no avail. Myra’s last will and testament explicitly stated that the team gather for a private memorial service on her behalf filled with drinks, laughter, and stories shared with their memories of her. There were to be no tears shed, but that was one promise they weren’t able to keep. Her ashes were to be scattered in four different places all over Sullivan’s Island.
