Veda and Keya had managed to tiptoe down through the stairs until they had reached the first floor and peeping over the edge of the staircase handrails. Veda knows she dare not allow Luna to catch a glimpse at her or else her effort to save Landon will be rendered useless. There is one way she can stop Luna from getting to see her until she gets to the battlefield and that is definitely by being more careful than usual.
