The Mystic Seed

503 Words
A thousand miles away lays the abandoned hope, hope long left by travelers on the quest for greatness, a lost and forgotten hope, and the will of great men who never thought life would be unfair until they found themselves at the center of their lost hope. I wonder how this hope could be restored. But what I fear now is the fact that nothing seems to grow. The mystic seed which they all have been trying to plant has never done well because there is no soil to plant the seed, the land has been engulfed with hate and lies and disrespect, the lost hope needs to be found and the seed needs to be planted, no one is willing to travel through that same road again for there is nothing there. Remember it is called the land of the hopeless? Why do you expect to travel there? I think enough is quite enough for all who have been searching for the unknown now to think the unknown has become the known. That’s why every one of us now has this paradox built within us. It holds us captive. By so doing, it creates a black hole within us and shows us only the dark side of everything we lay our hands on. The mystic seed, they say, poses this power that, once seen with the eyes, can bring instant glory and vibrant health and stamina. The wise and the philosophers say the seed was passed down from generation to generation, but the new age has not even been able to savor or see what the seed looks like, for it was said the seed could heal and restore a shattered mind and broken heart. Kings and queens have been sent far and near in search of this mystic seed. On their way, they encountered a land that was said to have embedded this mystic seed. As they approached the land, so fertile and rich in minerals and gems. They all forgot about their callings and turned to savor the treasures rather than look for the mystic seed which would give them eternal life. At the center of the forest where they were all seated savoring the beauty and endless energy which could have been theirs if and only if they focused on getting it done. At that particular moment of their lives, they found what was long abandoned by the clergy. It was known as greed, they all had a time limit to undo whatever thing they did and by so doing they refused to accept that what they did was not contrary to their destiny, they made Mother Nature look like a liar to them. For they were asked what brought them to the forest of hope and they said the obvious which made the trust which was bestowed on mankind be taken back. The forest of hope was changed from hope to hopelessness. They all gave in to their fate, as the ground open wide and slowed them.
