62. Disappointment

1276 Words

All I wanted right now is to head back to my room and deal with Gabriella’s mess, but of course, I can't f*****g do that. Not until I handled Alessio first. He's been testing me, like he’s got a damn death wish. After the crap he pulled last month, sneaking out to the woods to drink and get high like some brain-dead lowlife with those i***t friends of his, I thought I’d drilled the lesson into his skull. Clearly, I was too f*****g soft on him. That’s on me. But this time? This time he’s gonna learn. The hard way. I make my way to his room. I don’t bother knocking, just grab the handle and push the door open slowly. The moment I step in, I see him, sitting there on the edge of his bed like a kicked dog, head buried in his hands. From the sound of his breathing, I already know he’s crying.
