The woman glanced over at the place she’d left her notepad at… and realized it wasn’t there anymore… ‘Did he?’ She stood up and headed to the door but the man was long gone. ‘…shit… all my patient’s information is there… wait… is that why he asked me for it?’ She wondered to herself in a bit of a panic, but there wasn’t really anything she could do at that point.
Admitting to losing private information of her patients, was worse than just ignoring it as it never happened. It could ruin her reputation, sure but if she were to say that it was stolen from her without her knowledge there was still hope.
