I left you a message with Elba, which she did not give you, and which I knew she would not. I suggest you worry less about my whereabouts and more about those of your daughter. I doubt my husband would be impressed if his third cousin came up pregnant with some stable hand’s spawn,” Alyssa had not intended to take months of frustration out on Sylbia, but even she had limits.
