Alyssa stared out the window. It was nearly winter when she and Melbourne visited her grandmother on their honeymoon, and in the middle of summer, she had returned minus her husband and her pride. The events of the days after Megan arrived had played through her mind so many times, and yet her mind kept wandering the halls of the past.
