Melissa. I stayed curled on the floor for what felt like hours, my tears soaking the fabric of my wedding dress , my chest heaving with each sob. The silence of the room pressed down on me like a weight I could barely bear. But somewhere deep inside, beneath the shame, the grief, and the exhaustion, a tiny spark of defiance flickered.
