"Mommy" Yamilet shouted as Lorie and I walked in the front door. Kellan was in shock when he saw her walk in the house with me behind her. Lorie took off her cloak and kneeled to hug Yamilet. She buried her face in Lorie’s neck wrapping her little arms around her neck and legs around her waist.
"Did you get rid of the bad people?" Yamilet asked looking at Lorie.
"Not yet sweet pea, but I promise I will" she replied. Yamilet placed her head on the crook of Lorie’s neck again. Kellan got up and walked towards me.
