Mahi thought to herself, "I'm suffocating from looking at that cheap Chauhan's face. I'll go to the washroom before he comes." But before she could do that, Vihan went to the washroom. Mahi quickly went to her grandmother and said, "Dadi Maa, I've just come from the washroom." And with that, she left.
Meanwhile...
Mahi's grandmother asked Mathili ji, did you want to talk to me about something?" Mathili ji replied, "Yes, Maa ji ( aunt ). I wanted to ask you about Mrs. Mehta's granddaughter. I'm looking for a suitable girl for my son's marriage, someone who can take care of him and his son." Mahi's grandmother said, "Mrs. Mehta good friend of mine, but I've heard her mention that she often visits nightclubs and consumes alcohol. She always comes home drunk at night. But please don't mention that I told you this."
Mathili ji - "Yes, aunt I won't mention it. I'm looking for a girl like your granddaughter. She's so mature and beautiful." Mahi's grandmother - "Mahi grew up without a mother. I also want her to get married into a good family and have all the happiness in life." Mathili ji - "But Mahi is still very young." Mahi's grandmother - "Yes, she is young, but Rajendra's friends want Mahi to be their daughter-in-law. Good relationships are hard to find these days. Nothing is fixed yet, just discussions." Mathili ji - "I also want my son to get married and move on from his past."
Meanwhile...
Mahi had gone to the washroom. Whenever she got angry or something bad happened, she would talk to herself and complain to God. Her anger had subsided earlier after venting out to Neha and cursing Vihan, but seeing him again had reignited her fury. Mahi was extremely angry today.
Without checking the sign on the door, Mahi walked into the gentlemen's washroom. There was no one inside, and she hadn't realized yet that she was in the wrong washroom.
Mahi came inside and stood in front of the mirror attached to the washbasin. As soon as she saw her lips, she pulled out wet napkins from her bag and started rubbing her lips with them, talking to herself.
"Oh God, you have left no stone unturned in making my life a hell. I was left with no one in the world to help me, except his mom. Okay, she did help, but why is grandma sticking so close to them? And then answering herself, why would she sit with me? Everyone gets itchy as soon as they sit with me. Rubbing her lips for a long time made Mahi's lips turn red, and now they're even hurting. That scoundrel, some brute, bit me so hard."
"I have never rejected anything given by God, but today my lips look so dirty that I feel like cutting them off from my face. And that cobra came and sat on the chair in front of me. Shameless, utterly shameless."
Mahi makes a face and says, " pervert was telling me, 'I'm chasing after her.'" Then, pointing to herself in the mirror, "I'm the one who's chasing after him. Are all the boys in the world dead? Even if he's the last one, I won't look at his face. I feel like scratching his face and pulling his hair out to make him bald, sitting in front of me like a big hero.
Mahi started smiling while imagining Vihan without hair, and her dimples appeared. "Oh God, enough is enough for today, please don't make me look at his face again." As soon as Mahi said this, she noticed Vihan standing beside her in the mirror, glaring at her with anger. Mahi looked away with disgust and thought to herself, "Look at this shameless person, he's even come into the ladies' bathroom." Mahi was about to leave with her bag when a person passing by saw Vihan and Mahi and commented, "Found the bathroom to show some love, huh?" Mahi couldn't tolerate his words and slapped the guy hard on the cheek. Vihan, standing behind, couldn't help but smile at Mahi's furious face.
When Mahi came out, she saw the ladies' bathroom on her right, but she had gone to the left, realizing she had entered the men's bathroom. Mahi quickly ran back to her chair and sat down, muttering to herself, "How could I be such a big fool? What was I thinking going into the men's bathroom?" She felt like banging her head against the wall to snap out of it. Vihan, remembering Mahi's actions, sat down in the chair opposite her, still feel annoyed.
Mahi had her head down, but she knew Vihan had sat down, and she was too scared to look up. She thought to herself, "He (Vihan) heard me praising him so much, and still, he came and sat in front of me! This shows how shameless he is... couldn't he have sat somewhere else? But no, he had to sit right in front of me, to torture me." When Mahi couldn't bear Vihan's presence anymore, she called Rocky.
Mahi: Hello? Brother, where are you? Is everything okay? No problems, right? I've been trying to reach you for a while. When will you come? Is everything alright? I've been waiting with Grandma. Brother, say something. Is everything okay? Brother... brother...
Rocky: Oh, slow down! You're speaking like a superfast train! I'm fine, and I'm here to meet Mom.
Mahi (with a sad face): How's Mom? Why didn't you take me with you?
Rocky: Mom's fine. How could I bring you? I snuck past the guards myself. And uncle has placed so many guards behind you.
Mahi: No way! There are only four guards standing in front of me.
Rocky: There are four guards in uniform standing in front of you, and probably 7-8 more without uniforms keeping an eye on you from different angles.
Mahi: I can't be that valuable to them that they'd need to place so many guards around me. (Vihan was looking away, but his ears were tuned to Mahi's conversation.)
Mahi (in a trembling voice): They must have been hired to spy on me. I don't know if I'm even their daughter.
Rocky: No, baby, the guards are for your safety, not to spy on you.
Mahi couldn't hold back the tears welling up in her eyes, and they started falling. She hid her face from Vihan, but he caught a glimpse of her red nose and the tears streaming down her eyes.
Mahi (in a shaky voice): If they cared about me as much as they claim, I've seen everything since I came back from the hostel.
Rocky: Mahu, how many times have I told you not to cry? You might not be important to others, but you're my life, beta. Now tell me, should I come to get you?
Mahi: No, brother, enjoy your time with Mom. I'll manage to get back. Bye. And she hangs up the call.
Mahi wipes her face clean with a wet napkin and goes to her grandmother.
Mahi: Grandma, brother has gone shopping at another mall, so we should head home now.
Grandma: Have you had lunch?
Mahi: Yes, Grandma.
Vihan thought to himself: She's full of lies from head to toe. When did she eat? It seems like she's living on air.
Mathili Ji: Let's go, Mom. We'll see you tonight at the party, and make sure to bring Mahi along.
Grandma: Yes, beta, we'll all be there. You go get your check-up done first.
Mathili Ji, gesturing towards Vihan: He's with me, and he won't let me leave until he knows about my health.
Mathili Ji, Mahi, Grandma, and Vihan headed out of the restaurant and reached the lift to go to the ground floor. The lift had Mathili Ji, Grandma, and four guards - two Singhs and two Chauhans.
As soon as Mahi was about to step into the lift, Mathili Ji told Vihan, "Vihan, take Mahi and come in the other lift."
Grandma added, "Mahi, go with Vihan, we'll wait for you downstairs."
Mahi's feet seemed rooted to the spot, realizing she'd have to go with Vihan. As they walked towards the other lift, Mahi said, "I don't want to go with you. Either you go first or let me go." To be continued...
It seems like the story is unfolding into an interesting drama! 💕 Let's see what happens next. Will Mahi and Vihan's awkward encounter continue, or will something else catch their attention? 🤔
