DOMESTICITY COMES IN MANY GUISES
Mary spent the rest of the day merrily washing cobwebs from walls and scrubbing stains from creaking floorboards. She took great care in positioning her meagre belongings strategically about the room. She was determined to make the space as homely as she possibly could. It felt odd; she’d never been concerned with such things before.
