MORE DEADLY THAN THE MALE
Two week later, during early evening, Mary dressed to entrap. She wore a tight-fitting gown with a plunging neckline. She had taken meticulous care over applying her make-up and teasing out loose curls to frame her face.
When she deemed herself ready, she made for the pub opposite the Gaiety Theatre. Without making eye contact or engaging in small talk, she bought a drink and sat quietly nursing it, exactly as she had done every day for the past week.
The target was known to enjoy the company of attractive young women. This time, she spotted him in the pub. It was easy to get herself noticed. Of course she allowed him to buy her a drink. She pretended to be rather star-struck at the chance encounter and predictably, he suggested they meet after the show.
