I was going through my usual morning routine. I woke up at five a.m. and worked out in my home gym. Then I took a shower and put on a pair of sweatpants, leaving my chest bare. Feeling refreshed, I made my morning smoothie and drank it while I checked the internet for any news stories about any of my clients. I had people for that, but I wanted to be on top of everything. I micromanaged my team on a daily basis. Many didn't like it and didn't renew their contracts. The ones that did well within the first year, I slacked off on, slightly, but I never stopped paying attention. It has gotten me out of a lot of jams in the past. I wasn't going to stop the practice now.
