We spent a couple of hours in the realtor's office filling out paperwork and talking with the bank. When we left her office, Daniel returned a call from Benson. He wanted to see if Daniel would be pressing charges against Lenore. Daniel looked at me and put Benson on hold.
"What do you think, Peaches, Benson said she is giving evidence in the murder case, and she may cooperate better if he can negotiate with me to not press charges. I don't want to see her serve time or be punished for coming here last night. What do you think?"
I was glad he was involving me. I had an idea.
"Lenore has to agree not to come back. To leave us both alone in person and digitally. If she bothers us again, we will press charges, and they will stick the next time."
