Around three in the afternoon, I heard back from Marty. He tracked down Gayle later in the afternoon. It appeared that she had lied about having a sick child. Marty was surveilling the house when she came home with two kids with backpacks in tow. By the looks of it, she had picked them both up from school. There appeared to be no husband in the picture, so I asked Marty to find out if that was a recent thing or if there had been no husband in the first place.
