My parents are expecting me this weekend. I came to town early basically because I had nowhere else to go. I'm staying with a friend from high school for a few days and I haven't told anyone else that I'm here. I have no money and my gas tank is on fumes, which is another reason I came straight here. I didn't have the money or inclination to linger anywhere else. It's kind of embarrassing that I have to run home to Daddy at the ripe age of twenty-one.
