Was there ever going to be a time when he was ready to talk about the wound in his soul? Dale wasn’t sure if he’d ever get to that place. Sitting here with Riadh’s arms around him, sun setting into twilight, a cold beer in his hand, that part was nice though. He thought for a moment about the stuff he’d bought at the pharmacy. It was really nice watching Riadh get off, knowing that despite the equipment not working problem, he could still do something pleasurable for another guy. They sat until the sun was below the horizon and only twilight remained. All the lifting and hauling of the past couple days was catching up to his body. The lack of sleep wasn’t helping either. Dale stretched, and groaned at the protesting muscles. “I guess it’s time to try for the requisite two hours of sleep.”
