Kent's POV
I was so eager to see Lucille tonight and with what Martin and I had planned for her, I knew she would have no choice but to accept our help.
"Tonight, let me be the one to speak...You are not going to say anything, or else you will ruin it like last time." I said to Martin who was also eager to see her. However, when I turned to look at him, he was looking down at his phone with a serious expression.
"Lucille has divorced Brandon." He said simply, but the slight raise of his lips showed that he was bubbling inside. I was happy too, knowing that that bastard was out of her life for good.
"We promised to protect her from harm, we should continue to do that." I nodded, a sweet feeling of happiness in my heart. "How about Vanessa?" I asked curiously.
