I went quiet at that question, feeling deflated that my father and brother would think such of me. I closed my eye, to take a deep breath and then opened them again.
“Dad…” I let out, my voice a bit shaky. “Why would you think such?” I asked, feeling hurt.
“I..” He stuttered over the phone. “I understand that you must feel hurt because you weren't named today.”
