Avenging My Mother

CHAPTER 3

six years later....

I moved out of the castle at 15 that's when I agreed with my father that I would lay low until I felt comfortable enough to show myself to everyone that was just an excuse to have more freedom to do my things. Since my mother died I never shown my face to the public again thanks to my stepmother she made sure that I'm completely forgotten...I can never take more than a year without meeting my father physically but we can talk on a video call. But that's not a problem for me because the whole castle is under my watch.

"Tiernan I will cut the chase and go straight to the point. I know you are not that little five-year-old anymore. You are my princess and as much as I want you to be my successor the board will not approve instead they will want you to prove yourself to them. Don't forget that almost non of them know you. Apart from the Price, The White and of course The Green family." He pause and said, "They want your brother to succeed me." He gave me a hard look. I smirk and take a slow drink. I motioned him to continue with my hard. I saw a surprised look in a second but it was masked as always.

"If you have any objections then tell me before I make any announcements."

I knew everything he was talking about even before he requested the secret meeting with me.I'm always ahead of them all.

I placed my glass down and gave him a serious look never looked him like this though but it's time to stop laying low anyway. "How far are you from getting my mothers murderous?"

He was shocked and his face turned pale. No he was not shocked he was horrified. He blinked once, twice then gained his usual posture....well I have to give myself some credit I just made the Underground Mafia King almost has a heart attack I smiled in my heart.

He softens, "Nana," He said with a soft smile "It has been Fifteen years since the death of your mother, I have done my best I have tried to dig but I can't get any clues. Do you know something by any case?Nana I'm your father, your mother was my soulmate, they took her from me. Tell me anything I will make them pay." I swear I would have told him everything his face ,his pain his tensed body but he is my father I took everything from him even the slightest emotion I can copy... I sighed in my heart and I complimented him for his act, no wander he is the king.

But I can reciprocate it just well. My eyes turned watery in a blink and I gave him a shocked look with an open mouth for sometime."Dad, I was just ten how could I know anything? If I did I would have reported them to you."

My watery eyes and my unmasked emotions made him certain I new nothing and he also felt disgusted for it and a little guilty he wasn't there to teach me how to act like a proper princess.

He composed himself and said "Nana you didn't gave your option." I shrugged and said say, "You are the king so you can do whatever you want to your throne, don't you think your highness?" I said with sarcasm and mockery evident in my tone. He laughed as if I just made a joke. "Your right but I wanted to make sure that my princess knows it before hand he pause and get serious again, and said, "Also you can always marry into a big family, in fact, it's time for you to get married, right?"

I stood and grabbed my pass, "Dad, it has been wonderful seeing you today," I said with a smile, then changed my face just like him and leaned slightly in his space " Liam and Matilda will never be the rightful successors of the throne." I smooth my dress with a sweet smile turned and leave. I have always liked my father, but now I despise him for not being able to figure out my mother's murderous....there are under his nose or maybe he is not ready to destroy the throne that has been in our bloodline for ages by fighting his closest allies but I will destroy them all most painfully even him if he gets in my way of avenging my mother's killers.

I swear my was shocked by my indifference, he has never seen me like that I mean being my real self he always knows the fake me. He thought he was actually dreaming but he wasn't. If only he knew what's awaiting or everything I knew.....
