Garden of Eden (Part Three)

Amber’s Point of View

I sent him away with my flame infused punch and that hit hard, I felt that, I know it since I am the one who punched that creature obviously. If he is playing dirty then I need to adapt, this is the point of this mission after all. I really hoped that if things go bad here, the goddess will help me out.

She won’t let me die right? RIGHT? Great! Now I am starting to doubt the goddess. I mean everything is going fine for me right now, I am overwhelming the creature now and I succeed at getting it away from her, but I have the feeling that carrying her would just get her killed.

That’s why I need to kill this creature right now, kill? No just knock it out... AHHH! I don’t want to kill! So, I rushed to the unconscious female, and carried her with all my strength and put her in my back, I wonder if my flames will hurt others, I don’t know and I don’t want to risk it now.

I extinguished my armor flames but keeping the fire boots flaming still as this can help me to run faster to escape that creature. Maybe I knocked it out, when I am assured that the female mystic is well rested on my back, I used my pyrokinesis to burst out flames that will help me run faster. Thankfully I left some flare balls earlier which helped me to get my way back outside.

“GET BACK HERE!” he is afar and I won’t worry much about it catching up with us. From afar its voice is like a distorted tune. I ran faster and faster and their times that I lose my balance but thankfully I quickly regained my footing which prevented me to fall and let that creature catching me.

I used a kick move when I saw the last flare ball which means that I am turning left which where I came from earlier, to seal the way and prevent him from catching up. I felt pity for that creature as it will starve when he is left locked up inside this cave and that will go against my principle with no killing natural creatures except for the evil ones that came from the underworld.

So, I make sure that the rocks that will fall is hollow and within a short period of time it can breakout so it can feed on other creatures. Such as the food chain and I cannot go against it even I wanted every creature to prevent it from being killed. Why not? If I can.

But such as the law of natural balance, it’s always there from the beginning and it will always be when the end comes. That’s why letting it starve to death is still my fault and I am the one who killed it technically. Enough explanation!

After I kicked the ceiling of this corner it caused a light explosion which will cause a light erosion that will stall us time to get outside. I don’t know where to go since I did not drop some flares in my way earlier. But one thing I remember for sure.

Just go straight. I am not going to lie that the weight of this female mystic is pretty heavy for me to carry, well, strength training at this kind of moment in my life is not bad. I heard the creature growl from afar when it reached the blocked path. Don’t worry with enough hard work you can get out of there and next time don’t feed on poor mystics.

I am right, I saw the faint light soon after moments of running and I ran and ran as fast as I could but not that faster when that creature is chasing us. Thanks to it, I get to experience using my flames as my armor, great experience though, also it’s comfy and if my things are fire proof, I will wear it while sleeping.

Why not right? It’s comfy so why not. I just hope that I will not burn everything.

I reached the cage roots again and I was relieved that for a brief moment of time we will have safety in this place. So, I decided to drop her on the ground and I catch my breathe because I am running non-stop earlier. Just a little break will not kill us.

I stare at the girl and wonder if this female mystic is still alive or not, I fall onto my knees beside her so I can hear her heartbeats in her chest. This is not s****l assault, right? We are both females after all and I don’t have any bad or any s****l intentions towards her.

After hesitating for a moment there, I decided to feel her heartbeat to know whether she’s alive or not... wait... does the Mystics anatomy same with human anatomy? I mean I have my heart at my chest and pretty much I am functioning normally, I don’t know my insides though since I didn’t take any x-ray tests back when I was a human.

Either way I still put my ears on her chest to hear and feel her heartbeat and thankfully, I hear her heart beating and her heart is in her chest because that will confuse me big time if that did not go to plan. She’s weakened just by looking at her state and I did not know what that creature did to her before I reached them. Thankfully for her because I reached them on time and I get to save her because if I don’t her soul or flesh was probably eaten by that creature, by now.

After a short break, I have four more abilities to create and thanks to that armor I dot to create a wide range of new skills, and that saved me a lot of time especially now that I have an extra cargo that need protecting from those monsters.

Maybe it’s easier to improvise when I get there but... the goddess might find me out quickly, I mean I have the feeling that se might use her mind reading again on me. I am not sure, but I guess it’s much quicker if I play all of this safe.

Four more moves are not that hard anyway, I guess. I just need to be creative enough to support that opinion. Well, I mean I finished ninety-six moves out of one hundred just from one basic foundation and I know that it’s for my well being to.

I have no choice, do I? I guess, I will proceed at creating four more moves while protecting this lady that I met. I took a deep breathe because I don’t know what to do If I encounter that Gerarda as soon as I step out of this shelter. I stood up and went for a peek outside. Making sure that there are no hostile creatures trying to eat us outside of this shelter.

Hmmm, it’s pretty clear and it’s peaceful outside I only saw plants swaying from the blow of the wind and no signs of any living creature, such irony for a lush forest. I know well enough already, and I can blame the creatures who live here if they decided to hide, after seeing that Gerarda. I have a reason to hide too.

On my level right now, I am not confident to take down one of those giant and fierce creatures. Especially the hungry ones because they are so aggressive adding this fragile cargo of mine. I hope that this is not a set-up from the goddess, I mean this lady. Because I don’t know what might I do, if I found out that I risked my life for saving a lady that’s been faking its state.

I’ll just hope for it not to happen. After ensuring that the outside is clear, I went to the side of the lady and carry her again to put her in my back.

I took yet another deep breathes again to prepare my mental state for the upcoming challenge that I will face soon. Deep breathe Amber, it will help you to calm yourself so always remember that when you are uncertain of things, that’s what I reminded myself.

It pretty much became my routine when I panic, I can say that it really helps me to calm myself, even just a little bit. It really helps me and I can confidently recommend it to my friends. It has scientific evidence to support it. That’s why.

I stepped out of the root cage and... wooh a blow of wind blew right past through us. Pretty peaceful and there are no possible threats as of now. Hmmm, I looked from left to right to ensure our safety... where did it I came from earlier?

Oh! I don’t know! Why brain? Why? I want to blame my brain for not remembering well, but what can I do? It’s just me. Ahh whatever, I will just roam this forest until I find the way out of this forest, will it waste me time? Yes, but I don’t have any choices right now. Is that a certain way to find my way out? No, again I DON’T HAVE ANY FREAKING CHOICE.

I amazed for this Mystic’s weight because in a weakened state she feels so heavy. I found a trail, and I decided to follow it since it’s easy and safe to follow trails. I don’t know what I am doing anymore. But what matters is going out of this place with this lady alive.

I froze in my tracks when I hear a growl from afar and I recognized it quickly since I know that came from the Gerarda that chased me earlier. It must be frustrated that it lost me earlier. Now I need to be more aware of its presence because I made it angry probably. However, I will just hope for that creature not finding us.

I walk forward hoping that I reach the goddess soon and successful.
