Initiate Capture Plan

A day has come by, and Amber has resumed her training after a few days of resting, the goddess has allowed her. Arthur and Kamandag are on their own training too, while Mirana is always by Amber’s side watching her fight monsters.

She decided to stick with her since she knew that she can take advantage of her offer that she will help her to find the twin dragons hidden in these lands. The importance of this mission is unknown to her, she does not want to find out the reason behind it as long as he dreams are fulfilled and her interests are piqued by these missions.

“Flamethrower,” Amber produced a wave of flames in her palms burning these rock creatures that was given life by the goddess that is why she is not hesitating to kill this stone creatures. The hotness of her flames made the thick tough skin of these rocks soften, followed by a kick by Amber that crushed it into pieces.

“Wow bravo!” Mirana cheered the maiden while clapping and is amazed by her strength and endurance, even she cannot imagine herself after doing the same thing as what Amber did, if she has same ability as her.

The maiden turned to her and just gave her a sweet smile, and she continue to fight the remaining enemies with just her fists and feet. She lowered down their defense so she can safely fight them bare handed, unlike earlier that she can’t even cause a dent on their tough skin.

She is also amazed at how intelligent the maiden is, and she is one to be feared in the middle of a battlefield. Using her flames to make them vulnerable. From afar the goddess, Amaterasu is also impressed on she overcame this trial. She made sure that the rocks that she has used to create them are very tough that even the strongest of creatures that lives in this world will have a hard time to c***k it. Also, she is impressed on how strong she has become, producing those hot flames that can soften those rocks is no joke.

After the trial the goddess came to Amber and told her that she should take a break, Mirana has prepared food for them and surprisingly the wanderer is a skilled cook that prepared delicious dishes and she is knowledgeable about the ingredients so she had to make sure that the ingredients that she will be using has balanced nutritional value, that will strengthen Amber’s body.

She is also accustomed to her new environment still fearing the goddess, but she can interact with her. This is a great chance for Mirana to take some information about her that she will only keep for herself in her journal. Taking notes of her behaviors, personalities, personality likings, and anything that is related to her.

She is an observant that likes to watch everyone from afar and she has taken interest to Kamandag once she knew that she is from the underworld that has been awakened by the blessed ones. It’s like she is taken into a cave full of treasures. But unfortunate for her it’s only rare for her to see Kamandag on the cave, because of her self-training.

That’s sad for her as she cannot take notes about her.

“This is delicious,” Amber remarked about the food that she had cooked for them, the wanderer felt flattered when she heard that from Amber.

“Thankl you,” she replied and they continue on eating. After a few minutes Amber managed to finish her food.

“Phew, I’m full, thanks for the food,” she said after she finished eating and from her expression it can be seen that she really enjoyed the meal. Mirana is glad to see Amber’s expression as she knows that she can be some of use to her. She decided that she will stick to the maiden until her mission in this country is finished.

From afar countless salamanders and fire minotaurs we slain, in the path of Borjr’s army. They relentlessly slaughtered anything in their path only living death behind them as their lord wished for. This fast-paced killing tickled the goddess’s senses as she can tell that they are coming for the stone.

But, telling this to the others will only expose their plan to the hiding Borjr somewhere in the cave finding the chamber where he can steal the crystal. Pyro was tasked to guard the cave as he is one of the two that can sense danger.

It does not require him to sense the physical presence but the threat it poses to him and his master and fortunately, the danger that will happen to his master’s friends can be also sensed by him. It’s like a concept of time travelling but only for a brief future, Pyro’s senses are ahead for just seconds than in the present that’s why it can tell the danger that will happen to them. The same concept also applies to Poison.

They are deities after all, that’s why they have that ability.

Amaterasu called Amber for them to talk without Mirana knowing as this is a private matter and soon Mirana will have to know as the situation will really happen and it is imminent for them to avoid.

“Why?” Amber asked the goddess on why she is called inside this room right now.

“Are you ready?” she asked the maiden again and they talked about this before the army began to appear.

“Yes, I am more than ready,” she answered and honestly, she is nervous because this is her first encounter with the underworld.

“Good,” she said to the maiden. “Then we will catch him sooner now,” she added. “4bnSo, brace yourself and protect that partner of yours,” she said and for some reason Amber felt flattered when she heard that Mirana is her partner.

It’s like her dream come true as she envies the other two that they have their own personal allies that can help them in their journey and finally she has her own. With that she promised to herself that she will protect Mirana from the enemies.

The plan will be commenced soon and this plan is pretty risky that even thinking about it is not allowed because they don’t know what other ability does the enemy have. With that they proceed to act normally so any suspicions from the hiding enemy will be avoided at all cost.

Now, Mirana is cluelessly cleaning the dishes having no idea what will happen to them later on, and that will surprise her later on, but Amber swore to protect her friend from any danger coming for them.

“Hey,” Amber called to Mirana and she looks at the maiden immediately and with her keen eyes, she noticed that inside that is worry, it’s like the maiden is worried of something.

“Is something wrong?” she asked the maiden and Amber just avoided her gaze towards her new friend. She really has sharp eyes or is she just easy to read? That’s what the maiden asked to herself.

“N- nothing,” she said and knowing what happened back in the forest where Amber became angry on her meddling in her personal life, she accepted the answer and decided just to let her be. “I just wanted to say that from now on, you should always stick with me,” she said and Mirana gave her a questioning look.

“Why?” she asked the maiden.

“It’s because in this place, danger is everywhere and we don’t know what will happen to you, if enemy comes,” she explained just a brief information about the current situation that they are in now.

“Ookay,” she said unconvinced still.

“That’s a promise?” she asked the wanderer

“Y- yes a promise,” she doubts her words as she feels that there is something that she is not aware about. She does not know what it is and it is up to her to find that out, since she became an explorer and a detective at the same time as the mission that she is taking from her guild are all about data gathering on a certain subject.

She never failed in this kind of mission as of now her current mission was the hardest one that she had received from the guild master as this was a forgotten deities many years ago and any mystic that she came across in these lands, only know just a little bit about them. Only the legends, that is written in books are the only ones that guide here to find leads that will lead her to them.

Her current greater lead is in front of her, which is Amber, and she saw some pendant under the collar in her shirt and she is intrigued by the symbol. She can see through her thin shirt that is covered of something like a vest.

So that she can accomplish this goal, she will stick to her until the very end and it is not ideal for her to be abducted by their enemies. Her goal lies within her and since she offered protection, it’s like killing two birds in one stone.

The best ideal situation for her.

Amber turned her back on the wanderer and Mirana resumes cleaning the dishes smiling. Amber walked away with serious look in her eyes and it is filled with sheer determination, as she decided to spend the rest of the day on training herself, so she can prove to herself that she is more than ready when they come.

“I’ll wait for them,” she whispered to herself.

Meanwhile the goddess telepathically called the other two by sending them signals that they can identify. A signal that will be their cue because its time to initiate the plan that they had talk about a few days prior. It’s time to initiate the Capture Plan. That will throw the enemy off balance in their plans and escape with the crystal on their hand.

Their fates lie on their hands.
