Back in the underworld where Cain and his new general came back, greeted by his minions, Aphelios is so confused as this is his first time reaching the underworld. The main source of his power that he once used for the sake of kindness.
Now that his heart is voided of pain, he cannot feel disgust towards them nor spite, but he now knows that he is above them.
