*** Lirian's POV *** The water here is so warm and inviting. The waters back in our world were always cold and dark. Not that cold bothers me; it just didn't feel as welcoming as these tropical waters. The warm waters eagerly caressed my legs as I walked into the water, slowly making sure not to trip or startle my tiny mate. Her weight got lighter, and it was visibly clear that she was not doing well. On top of it all, I could sense something else was going on with her, even if she didn't want to admit it. I didn't sense any ill will towards me; maybe whatever it was, it was just harmless worry or her inner thoughts. I know her inner thoughts could be a little unique and downright foolish, only making me love her so much more. She was that beautiful rare small stone you found on a walk
