"She regained consciousness!" Blake reported, and the sourness in my chest slowly melted away.
"Who did what?" I demanded, hoping he wasn't referring to someone else.
"Danica... She's awake" He corrected and an inaudible sign escaped me.
One of the Elders was currently speaking but I couldn't catch one more single word of his. Blake's words kept repeating itself over and over again in my head without permission.
"That's the end of today's meeting" I announced, cutting off whatever he was saying before storming out of the hall.
