ADAM POV
This is the last summer before I graduate from college and return to my pack. Back to my family and friends. When I graduate next year, there will be a job waiting for me. A very important job. I still plan on accepting that responsibility and making my father proud. Before I do that, there are still things I want to do.
It’s harder than you would think to be selfish. I owe a lot to my parents, and I don’t plan on letting them down. I also know what I want, and I’ve learned not to overlook my needs. To embrace them and fulfil them just as much as I acknowledge the needs of others. That’s why this summer I won’t be going home.
I’ve been working part time for my Abuelo Frank, and he’s overpaid me enough that I can explore this summer. I’ve even convinced Dev and Robbie to visit f
