Alex and I looked like hell as the cab took us to the restaurant to meet the others. Max and I were anxious to see our mate. We didn’t like the fact that she left last night. “She left after seeing you with that girl.” Max sneered. “I planned on explaining everything to her, she was gone before I had the chance.” I pointed out.
