Hank - Friend
We both got out of the car.
"Is everything ok, Lieutenant?" Connor asked
"Chris was on Patrol last night, He was attacked by a bunch of Deviants..." Hank said, "He said he was saved my Markus himself,"
"Is Chris ok?" I asked
"Yeah, he's in shock but he's alive," Hank said, "What the hell,"
We started walking to the entrance
"Kamski left CyberLife ten years ago, Why did you wanna him?" Connor asked
"This guy created the first Android to pass the turning test and he's the founder of CyberLife, Anybody can tell us about Deviants, It's him," Hank answered
Hank rang the doorbell waited for about 2 seconds then was about to ring it again but an Android answered the door.
"Hi," Hank said, "Uh, I'm, er, Lieutenant Anderson, Detroit Police Department, I'm here to see Mr Elijah Kamski,"
"Please, come in," She said, letting us in
"Okay," Hank said walking in
We followed.
She closed the door, "I'll let Elijah know you're here, But please, make yourself comfortable," She walked out of the room
Wait for Kamski
Hank sat down and we looked around. I walked over to a photo of two people. It was Amanda and Elijah. There was a statue and a picture of Kamski. I sat down on the other seat.
"Nice girl," Hank said
"An RT600, The first CyberLife Android to pass the Turing test," Connor said
"I didn't ask for her technical specs... I just said she was nice..." Hank replied
Connor sat on the arm of my chair.
"Nice place," Hank said, "Guess Androids haven't been a bad thing for everybody..."
"So you two are about to meet your maker," Hank said, "How does it feel?"
I just shrugged
"It doesn't raise any existential questions..." He said, "If that's what you mean,"
"Sometimes I wish I could meet my Creator face to face," Hank said, "I'd have a couple of things I'd wanna tell him,"
The Android from earlier walked out of a room, "Elijah will see you now,"
Hank went first, then Connor and then Me.
There was a huge swimming pool but instead of blue, it was red.
"Mister Kamski?" Hank shouted
"Just a moment, Please," A voice replied
I walked over and looked out the window, a perfect view. The snow was very pretty.
"I'm lieutenant Anderson, This is Connor and this is (Y/N)," Hank Introduced
"What can I do for you, Lieutenant?" He asked
"Sir, we're investigating Deviants," Hank said, "I know you left CyberLife years ago but, I was hoping you could tell us something we don't know..."
"Deviants..." Kamski started, "Fascinating, aren't they? Perfect beings with infinite intelligence, and now they have free will... Machines are so superior to us, the confrontation was inevitable... Humanity's greatest achievement threatens to be its downfall, Isn't it Ironic?"
"If a War breaks between human and Deviants, millions could die, Mr Kamski," Connor said, "It's quite a serious matter,"
"All ideas are viruses that spread like epidemics..." Kamski said, "Is the desire to be free a contagious disease?"
"Listen, I didn't come here to talk philosophy, The machines you created may be planning a revolution, Wither you can tell us something that'll be helpful, or we will be on our way," Hank said
"What about you two?" Kamski asked, "Whose side are you on?"
"We have no side," We said at the same time, "We were designed to stop Deviants and that's what We intend to do,"
"Well that's what you are both programmed to say, But you two, What do you two really want?" Kamski asked again
"What I want is not important," We said in unison again

"Chole," He called his Android over, "I'm sure you're familiar with the Turing test, Mere Formality, Simple question of algorithms and computing capacity, What interests me is whether machines are capable of empathy, I call it 'The Kamski Test', It's very simple, you'll see," He turned to the Android that was now facing us, "Magnificent, Isn't it? One of the first intelligent models developed by CyberLife, Young and beautiful forever,"
Now it's getting creepy
"A flower that will never wither, but what is it really? Piece of plastic imitating a human? Or a living being," He reaches into a drawer and pulls out a gun, " With a soul," He pushed the Android to her knees, "It's up to you two to answer that fascinating question," He placed the gun in Connors' hand and placed mine on so we both had our finger in the trigger, His right hand and my left hand, He aims the gun at her head.
"Destroy this machine and I'll tell you both all I know, Or spare it If you feel it's alive, but both of you will leave here without having learnt anything from me," Kamski said
"Okay, I think we're done here," Hank said, "Come on you two, Let's go, Sorry to get you outta your pool,"
"What's more important to you two?" Kamshi asked, "Your investigation, or the life of this Android? Decide who you two are, Obedient machines or living beings, endowed with free will,"
"That's enough! You two, we're leaving," Hank said
"Pull the trigger," Kamski said, "And I'll tell you what you wanna know,"
"Connor, (Y/N)," Hank said, "Don't,"
I could feel our LEDs connecting
What do we do?
I don't know!
I want to know what you think
Connor, I will support any desition you make, It's up to you
(Y/N) come on, I can't do this myself
"Look at the LEDs, I wonder what's going on in there," I heard Kamski say walking around us
Connor please, I can't do this
Spare, I think we should Spare
Sure?
Yes
We gave the gun to Kamski.

"Fascinating, CyberLife's last chances to save humanity, Are both Deviants," Kamski said
"We, We are not Deviants," We said in unison
"You both preferred to spare a machine rather than accomplish your missions," Kamski said, he helped his Android up, "You saw a living being in this Android, You both showed empathy," He sent the Android away, "A war is coming, You'll have to choose your side, Will you betray your own people or stand up against your creators? What could be worse than having to choose between two evils?"
"Let's get outta here," Hank said dragging us away
We started to leave when Kamski shouted, "By the way, I always leave an emergency exit in my programs, you never know,"
We headed outside
"Why didn't you two shoot?" Hank asked
I looked at Connor
We don't know," He said, "We just couldn't,"
"You're both always saying you would do anything to accomplish your mission," Hank said, "That was our chance to learn something and you let it go,"
"Yeah, I know what We should've done! We told you, we couldn't!" We said in unison, "We're sorry, Okay?"
"Maybe you two did the right thing," Hank said
