This was the fifth bar we visited, "This better be the right one,"
"If it's not we could try to locate his house," Connor replied
"We would be considered Stalkers," I replied
"We need to do this case," Connor said
I just sigh. We walked to the door...
No Android allowed
"I'll wait here," I said
"Sure?" He asked
"Yea, Be careful," I said
He walked in, leaving me to my thoughts.
I'm gonna be considered a Deviant if anyone finds out...
I can't let anyone know...
I already let him lead anyways...
He wouldn't care, all he cares about is his missions...

^ Software Instability
I leaned against the wall and waited. I watched as Connor and Lieutenant Anderson walked out.
"Good evening, Mr Anderson," I said
"There's two?" He asked
"I did mention it," Connor replied
I could hear a loud groan from the Lieutenant.
He took us to his car and we made our way to the case.
"You two wait here," Anderson said, "I won't be long,"
"Our Instructions are to accompany you to the crime scene, Lieutenant," Connor said
"Listen, I don't give a f**k about your instructions," He responded, "I told you to wait here, so you shut the f**k up and you wait here,"
"Language," I said
He left the car

We got out of the car and followed hank.
"Joss Douglas, for Channel 16, Can you confirm that this is a homicide?" A news reporter said
"I'm not confirming anything," Hank replied
"Have they said anything?" A bystander asked
"I didn't even know somebody was living there..."
"Typical DPD... They don't tell us s**t,"
We attempted to cross but were stopped by an officer, "Androids are not permitted beyond this point,"
"There with me," Hank said
We walked over to hank.
"What part of 'Stay in the car' Didn't you two understand?" He asked
"Your order contradicted our instructions, Lieutenant," I said
"You two don't talk, you don't touch anything and you stay outta my way, got it?" Hank asked
"Got it," We both said in unison
"Evening Hank," Someone said, "We were starting to think you weren't gonna show..."
"Yeah, That was the plan until these assholes found me," Hank responded
"So you got yourself Androids, huh?" They responded
"Oh, very funny, just tell me what happened," Hank said, walking in
We followed.
"We had a call around eight from the landlord. The tenant hadn't paid his rent for a few months, so he thought he'd drop by, see what was going on..." The man spoke, "That's when he found the body,"
We walked into the building.
"Jesus, that smell!" Hank exclaimed
There was a body on the floor, slouched with the words 'I am Alive' above.
"It was even worse before we opened the windows," The man said, "The victim's name was Carlos Ortiz," He paused, "He has a record for theft and aggravated assault, According to the neighbours, he was a kind of a loner, Stayed inside most of the time, They hardly ever saw him,"
"Uh, State he's in... Wasn't worth calling everybody out in the middle of the night..." Hank said, "Could've waited 'til morning,"
I started looking at the evidence,
Bloody Knife - Analyzing, No fingerprints, Android involvement?
"I'd say he's been there for a good three weeks, We'll know more when the coroner gets here," The man said, "There's a kitchen knife over here... Probably the murder weapon,"
I sampled the blood- Analyzing, Dried blood, Belonged to Carlos Ortiz
"Any sign of a break in?" Hank asked
"Nope, The landlord said the front door was locked from the inside, all the windows were boarded up. The killer must've gone out the back way," The man answered
There was another blood splatter on the ground, It was Carlos Ortiz's blood.
"What do we know about his Android?" Hank asked
Connor opened a cupboard to find nothing.
There was Thirium on the ground leaving a trail.
"Not much," The man replied to hank, "The neighbours confirmed he had one, but it wasn't here when we arrived, I gotta get some air, Make your self at home," He said leaving, "I'll be outside if you need me,"
Connor started looking at a leaflet, I looked to see it was for the Eden club.
"Eww," I said walking past
He just stared at me.
He walked over to another table and started looking about. I walked to the kitchen, There was more blood on the walls, and a huge chunk missing from the wall, It had more blood on it.
Connor walked through and looked at a magazine, I looked over to see the article...

"Connor, We are on a mission, look at that stuff on your own time," I said walking past, to investigate the missing knife
He looked at me, "Oh shut up,"
"So this is where the murder weapon must have come from," I thought aloud
"Each letter is perfect," Hank said, It's way too neat, no human writes like this," He paused to think, "Chris, was this written in the victim's blood?"
"I would say so... We're taking samples for analysis," Chris responded
"Red Ice..." Hank said, full of disgust, "Seems our friend Carlos liked to party,"
Connor looked at the baseball bat. I was about to walk past when he grabbed my arm, "Can you to look at the reconstruction with me,"
I nodded
Carlos started hitting The Deviant with the baseball bat Creating emotional shock, The Deviant took the knife, and sliced his stomach, causing Carlos to fall over the table.
"The Deviant was protecting itself," I said
"With that many stab wounds? It must have been bad," Connor said
"How many?" I asked
"28," He replied, "The font above his head is also CyberLife Sans,"
"All the blood belongs to Carlos and I've noticed some Thirium on the ground," I said
"Chris, I want a full analysis on the narcotics," Hank said to Chris
"Consider it done, Lieutenant," Chris replied
"Hey Mike, You finished taking samples over there?" Someone asked
I analyzed a fallen over a chair, It had Carlos's fingerprints. Signs of a struggle.
"Yeah, That's it," Mike replied
Connor looked out the back while I checked the bathroom. On the walls, the words 'rA9' was carved over and over, Obsessive Writing. A small statue was placed on the floor, Offering?
"Connor!" I shouted
I could hear him walk over, He walked in, "Yes?"
"Might wanna look at this," I said moving to the side to let him in
"What is this?" He asked
"It looks like a religious offering, and by that, That must mean that RA9 is some kind of god," I said
"But who is rA9?" Connor asked
"I don't know," I responded
We walked to the living room where Connor showed the reconstruction he has of when Carlos was stabbed, Carlos, was stabbed then stumbled to the living room, He fell over the arm of the couch and landed on the floor, The Deviant walked over, climbed on top of him and started stabbing him.
We walked over to Hank
"Lieutenant, We think we have figured out what happened," Connor said
"Oh Yeah?" He seems to doubt us, "Shoot, I'm all ears,"
"It all started in the Kitchen," I said
"There're obvious signs of a struggle... The question is, what exactly happened here..." Hank said
"We think the Victim attacked the Android with the bat," Connor said
"That lines up with the evidence," Hank replied, "Go on,"
"The Android stabbed the Victim," I said
"So the Android was trying to defend itself, right?" Hank asked
"Seems like it," I replied
"Okay, then what happened?" Hank asked
"The victim fled to the living room," Connor responded
"And he tried to get away from the Android..." Hank said as we walked over to the body, "All right, That makes sense,"
"The Android murdered the Victim with the knife," I finished
"Ok, Your theory's not totally ridiculous..." Hank started, "But it doesn't tell us where the Android went,"
"It was damaged by the bat..." Connor said, "And lost some Thirium,"
"Lost some, what?" Hank asked
"Thirium, It's what you call 'blue blood'," I explained, "It's the fluid that powers Androids' biocomponents,"
"It evaporates after a few hours and becomes invisible to the naked eye," Connor said
"Oh..." Hank understood, "But I bet you two can still see it, can't you?"
I nodded.
"Correct," Connor said
We followed the Thirium traced to an attic, There was a ladder covered in the Thirium
"A ladder was used," Connor said
We looked at the attic hatch to see a handprint.
"They're up there," I said
I watched as Connor walked over and grabbed a chair.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! What are you doin' with that chair?" Hank asked
"I'm going to check something," Connor replied
"Oh, Gonna check something," Hank mocked
Connor placed the chair down and climbed up. Once up, I followed.
Search Attic
I watched as Connor pulled on old sheet off. I walked past and some something run past, I followed. They were cornered. I walked over, I could hear Connor behind. The Deviant jumped out, not attacking, They were covered in blood.
Deviant Located
"I was just defending myself," The Deviant said, "He was gonna kill me,"
Connor stood in front of me
"I'm Begging you..." The Deviant pleaded, "Don't tell them,"
"You Two, What the f**k is going on up there?" I heard Hank shout
"It's here, Lieutenant!" Connor shouted
"Chris, Ben get your asses in here now! Come on!" Hank shouted
