It took Miguel quite a while to get over what had happened. Although he’d stopped looking at Shamus’ pictures, he still thought a lot about him. He somehow felt that he had found—and lost—the love of his life, and he couldn’t imagine ever finding someone else anything like him. After a few weeks, he admitted to himself he’d completely lost the desire to even try, and he removed his profile from the two websites he’d been on.
