Natalia Andrews was always a quiet girl. Not asking much of anyone and always sticking to her tight nit group. She wasn't the popular girl in school and never really cared to be. She got through life just fine and excelled in her studies. When she was 16 her mother fell very ill. Natalia took on the responsibility of helping to care for her younger siblings and for that she did not continue her education. At 21 her mother passed away, and her stepfather took care of raising her siblings as his own. Natalia couldn't bear the loss of her mother and decided it was her time to get away and start living her life. Which brings us to now.

Natalia is living in a new city at 22 working her butt off day and night to support herself and just get by. It isn't always easy but her best friend in the world came with her and they are growing their lives together. Fay has been Natalia's best friend since they were just 19 years old and was never very close to her family, which is what made her decision so easy about leaving the only life she has ever known to be with her best friend. It may not be a life of glamour but the two girls couldn't ask for anything more.

Fay was the popular girl that was secretly a nerd and didn't typically have an issue with finding romance. They were in the city for less than a month when Fay found the love of her life, Damon. The two were inseparable, which wasn't a bad thing because with Damon came his cousin Patrick. Natalia couldn't resist Patrick from the moment she laid eyes on him.  He was handsome and very funny and probably would never fall for a girl like Natalia but to her surprise he made the first move. On a night out on the town Fay had the idea to have Damon invite his cousin along for the ride as much as Natalia protested.

"Fay I really don't think that's a good idea. He doesn't even notice me."

To which she responded with, "I promise he will tonight." When Fay gets something in her mind she won't stop until she succeeds. So what did this mean for Natalia? This meant a girls day of nothing but pampering and shopping. They went to multiple stores in hopes of finding the perfect outfit for their night out.

"This is hopeless. I just can't find anything that I like."

"Natalia, there was at least 10 outfits that you looked amazing in. You just have to pick one."

"But none of them are my style Fay. It's not like I'm the typical party girl. Can't I just wear something I have at home?"

"Like the tattered pair of jeans that you try to wear every time we go out? Absolutely not Nat, it's time to freshen up your wardrobe and grab you the man you've been longing for since we got her. If you're not going to pick something then I will."

Natalia knew where her friend was going with this. She was going to try to pick the smallest dress that would show the most. To avoid this Nat reacted quickly grabbing the last black dress she tried on. It wasn't something typical that she would wear but it was definitely the least revealing thing that Fay had made her try that day. It was a simple dress that came down to her mid-thighs with just enough coverage on top.

"How about this one? I like it."

"Nat, did you really have to pick the safe one?"

Nat didn't consider it a safe choice but knowing the outfits her best friend could have picked, it was the only one she was willing to try. "I don't think it's safe. Safe is my favorite pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but since I know you are trying really hard to make this a great night I'm going to try to give a little."

With that response, a smile formed on Fay's face. "Okay, I will give you that, but I guess I'll just have to pick your shoes!"

Fay could be a little pushy at times, but that's the reason these two girls worked so well together. Fay gave Natalia the confidence to find herself, and she kept Fay grounded. "Fine. But nothing higher then 3 inches. You know I can barely handle that."

The girls started laughing and went up to pay for their purchases. As much as Natalia was nervous for tonight she knew her best friend wouldn't let her down and make a fool out of herself. Once they paid they headed home to get ready for a night that Natalia didn't know that she would never forget.
