Mathias jumped down and stepped on someone's windowsill, then jumped from the balcony before jumping to the gaps in the wall before anyone noticed. Mathias climbed to the third floor of the palace where the princesses lived and saw a white cat through the window glass, sitting in a room and scratching the curtains. Using his controlled strength and agility, he smoothly jumped through the gaps in the walls to approach the cat. The cat, preoccupied with scratching the curtain, didn't seem to notice Mathias's approach. Mathias, harboring resentment towards the cat because it had discovered him at an earlier time, decided to play a prank on it. He turned off his illusion spell and shouted "Surprised!!!" near the cat. The cat's fur stood up and it jumped, exclaiming "Meow!!!" Mathias
