Audrey’s POV The next morning, I woke up feeling sore but stronger. My muscles still ached, my ribs still hurt when I moved too fast, but I could tell I was healing. I stretched slowly, wincing as my body protested. I don’t have time to stay weak. I got dressed and stepped outside. The air was cool, the ground damp from the early morning mist. The packhouse was already awake, warriors training, people moving about, voices filling the space. I walked toward the training grounds, knowing Aiden would be there waiting for me. And I was right.
