Audrey’s POV The celebration stretched deep into the night, but I barely noticed. I stood close to Luke, pretending to enjoy the feast while the pack watched us. My smile was forced, my mind far away. Everything had changed. The bond made me one of them, but I knew it came with a price. The elders would never let me rise without a fight. Mira leaned against a nearby tree, her sharp eyes scanning the crowd. Aiden sat at a table, pretending to drink but always watching. They were waiting—just like me.
