"Are you okay?" I jerked my head to the side, looked at Kevin, and shook my head.
Of course, I was not okay; who would be okay after betraying their best friend? Not someone I know of. And I was also getting sick and tired of people asking me that question. How did they think I was doing?
"Sorry. I just had to ask. I know it was a stupid question," he said.
"No, It's fine," I sighed. "As you know, stuff has been really crazy lately, and I feel like crap. I haven't slept well in days, so you can imagine how I feel," I said as I put my feet on his lap.
"I'm sorry about that too," he said as he leaned over to take the remote, turned on the television, and started flipping through the channels.
