Cher walked in like she owned the place, swinging those drill sergeant arms. Rebecca perked up at the sight of us. Cher gave her a warm smile and asked: “Honey, can you do public address announcements from this desk? Nod your head, dear. That’s good. We need all residents in the dining room pronto. We have big news with lots of gossip potential.” Ten minutes later, Cher and I faced twenty tables with every seat taken.
