never started

I was so tired I needed a nap. The conversation with Tru was draining. Sabrina said she was going for a walk and I went to the room I would now share with Tru. His scent was intoxicating, and I loved being surrounded by it, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit it was an ache in my heart. Tru wanted me to choose. To let Nasir go. How could I do that? The man drove me insane but to think of him not being mine. Giving him to Dyna, I couldn't see it. There was a soft knock on Tru's door. I did not want to get up, so I lay there pulling the covers over my head. I loved it too, because Tru's heavy curtains blocked all the light. I heard the door open and opened my eyes. Why would he knock on his door? Maybe I was tripping, I thought, but no, I heard footsteps and then felt him crawl on the bed beside me. 'Nova began to growl.' You got to be shitting me. "Tru, wake up sleepy head." I felt someone pull the covers away from me and I sat up and our eyes met. The female let out a delayed scream and I grabbed her around the neck. The fight was on, "Who the hell are you." She had the nerve to ask me and with such an attitude that I saw red. Was this another hidden girlfriend or mate? At that point, I didn't care. All I knew was she was going down. She dove from the bed and headed for the door. I grabbed the nightstand and threw it at the b***h. It hit her in the back of the head, and she fell through the door. I heard groaning and then, "Oh no you didn't!" "Yes, I did, you slut!" I growled, before I could say anything else, she grabbed a piece of wood from the broken nightstand and smacked me across the face with it. "I hope I knocked the stars out of you b***h," she said. She had knocked the stars out of me. I touched my face to make sure my head was still attached. I was so angry. The fire inside of me exploded. I didn't give a damn this b***h was going to burn. I blew with all my might. When I was finally out of breath, I stood there panting, then out of the smoke the b***h stepped forward and sucker punched me. We fought like two alley cats over the last sewer rat. It wasn't until Tru stepped in and grabbed her, holding out his hand to me that we stopped. She kept lunging at me, "Let her go!" I growled. "Oh yeah, what are you going to do burn me?" She taunted, she blew her breath in my face, and it was ice freaking cold, "nice try sister!" She laughed. So I took my foot and kicked her in the face. "Now whose laughing garbage mouth? Your breath smells like trash." The girl's mouth dropped, and she blew her breath into her hand to smell it, then after confirming, she came at me again. "No, not again. You too are done." Tru announced. "Who is she!" we both pointed at each other. "Blaze, I want to introduce you to one of the most important people in my life. My kid sister Eve, but you can call her Windy." He said, "No, she can't! Only friends and family call me Windy," she glared at me. "Well, she is family, Windy, this is Jessica, but I call her Blaze." He smirked. We stared at each other in silence, sizing each other up. I realized I may have overreacted a little. "Um, I may have overreacted a little," I admitted. "YOU THINK! YOU HIT ME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A NIGHT STAND! WE WILL NEVER BE FRIENDS." She yelled at me. "Why were you in my room anyway?" Tru asked me. As his sister glared at me. I gave him a confused look, "Where else would I be?" I asked, "A jungle perhaps," his sister spat out, "you act like an untamed animal. And what the hell happened between you and Bonnie?" Sabrina came out of nowhere and grabbed Windy's hair. She punched her in the head, "You don't talk to my Queen like that!" "LET ME GO TRU!" Windy screamed. Tru let his sister go as Sabrina jerked her, and she fell to her knees, but she was still swinging. "Stop it Sabrina let her go!" I yelled, but out of nowhere two female pack members, one was Bonny Boobs, of course, tried jumping Sabrina. No way was I letting that happen, plus I'd wanted a piece of Bonny. My foot went right into her chest. "Enough!" Tru said using his Alpha tone, "You three in my office." "And you two stay out of trouble until I return." He ordered, looking at Sabrina and me. Looking around, we had done quite a bit of damage. "Some Luna," I heard someone mumble, "Screw you!" Sabrina yelled, and the group quickly hurried away. Tru had stopped and as the group passed, he tapped some girl on the shoulder and escorted her toward his office. "These people hate me." I groaned, "Do we have to stay here?" "Everything looks cheap." Sabrina wined, I laughed as she pouted, "Thanks for having my back." "Of course, these peasants are out of control, you have a lot of work to do. They have no respect for you." Sabrina said, "Sabrina, respect can be earned." "Yeah, with a swift kick in the ass." Sabrina pointed out. We were both standing in the hallway surveying the damage. At the end of the hallway was a huge picture window. I saw the sky light up and looked at her in horror, "You didn't!" "What, call Nasir," she said, "I mean yes and no." I hurried out of the packhouse. The last thing I needed was a confrontation between him and Tru. I was speed walking across the field to get to him and I blinked and there was Tru. 'Where the hell did he come from', Nova asked. "Nasir," I said out of breath, "what are you doing here?" "I could feel your tension. I thought I took care of that last night." He said in a cocky tone. My mouth dropped, did he just say that, "Are you in distress...Jessica?" Tru asked, "Uh no..." I stuttered, "I'm fine ba- Nasir." I said awkwardly. "You can leave now." Tru said, "Actually, Jessica, was there something you wanted to say to Mr. Roman?" Tru asked, I looked at Tru, eyes bulging. Now he wants me to do this? "Jess," Nasir said, waiting for me to say something. I felt like a deer caught in the headlights. "Tru, can we discuss this further," I asked, "No." He said flatly. "What's going on?" Sabrina asked. I hadn't even noticed her standing beside me. "Tru," I began, but then I got annoyed as Reggie and Windy came up behind us with Bonny Boobs, and I'd never even seen the other chick. "Is there a reason you need your flunkies for this conversation?" I snapped, and his eyes changed a moment. "I can't stand this b***h. Who are you calling a flunky?" Windy growled, "Jessica, please don't address my sister that way," Tru said. I bit my lip. "Exactly," Sabrina threw her hands up, "A foot in the chest. These people are disrespectful. Why would you want to lead them anywhere?" I was trying to focus on Tru and the situation at hand but his sister and Bonny were drooling over Nasir, and it was pissing me off. I felt like my emotions were all over the place and I wanted his sister to die. She was so disrespectful. "So I can be a b***h, and she is exempt from whatever," I protested, "You're a Luna Jessica. Of course, you are held to a higher standard. It's no different from being a Queen there," he waved his hand upward, "then again you are here, so maybe..." "Maybe what? I'm not suited for the role," I asked, that was a low blow, and I was done playing nice. "You want me to reject the one person who has not rejected me or restricted me to being with you. So I can be disrespected by Windy Funk breath and the dumb dumb crew. No, thank you. I chose you when you rejected me, I marked you, and you still reject me!" "You are rejecting me this time, Jessica. I asked you for one thing, and you are unable to comply. Him or me and I think you made your choice long before you stepped a foot in my territory." He said to me. My voice came out hoarse as I said, "and you're doing this in front of everyone." "Let's go, Jessica," Nasir said, "you are not valued here. You're a Queen, you don't have to beg anyone for love. You have my whole heart." I stood there waiting, praying, Tru would say something. Fat tears rolled down my cheeks. "I will get my things and go to Willow Way, Nasir." I said. I turned to walk away, but something compelled me to turn back to Nasir. I placed my hand on his chest. "I'm okay, Nasir. You can go." He was glaring at Tru like he wanted to rip him to shreds. I could feel the anger coming off him in waves. "Is there a problem?" Tru asked, "No, no problem at all. Right Nasir," I grabbed his chin, forcing him to focus at me. "No problem right baby," I said. He finally looked at me and nodded. He took my hand from his chest and kissed it, then pulled me in and kissed my lips. Then he stepped back and took to the sky. I didn't even look at Tru. My feet felt like lead as I went back to the packhouse to gather our things. "Jessie, it's okay he is not worth the trouble. There are plenty of men out there that will love you for you with all your baggage." Sabrina looked back at Tru, "and they won't come with the wicked b***h of the west as a sister." "Um bye bye don't let the door hit you in the ass." Windy said to let us know she heard her as her friends cackled. "Really Windy?" I heard Tru say as we were walking away. Sabrina just continued to ramble as I snatched up my bags. Her stuff was next door, "Sabrina, grab your bags, let's just get out of here. Besides love, your pep talks are trash." "I'm trying here." She said, pouting. "I know, but I don't want to feel better right now, just let me have a moment," I said, "Okay glad I didn't unpack." She nearly knocked over Tru walking out. "Excuse you," Tru said and Sabrina rolled her eyes and kept walking like she didn't even hear him. "Let me help you with your things." Tru had the nerve to offer. "Go to hell! I don't want your help or s**t from you." I threw the keys to the car he gave me and he caught them. "So we will end things with unkind words," Tru said, "End," is he serious, "you can't end something that never started."
