Starts with a deal, ends with love

Chapter 3

After Vaibav let Thamari go, his mother got angry, saying he should not have let her go as now they were going to lose face in front of the guests they invited. Vaibav remained silent............his grandma started her tantrum and his sister blamed him for not being able to keep a simple girl by his side..........the conversation was going nowhere as each were blaming the other. At one point, Vaibav shouted at them to be silent so that he could think of a solution to the situation...............his grandma started praying, asking God to help them clean up the mess her grandson had caused in a way as dramatic as possible.

This made Vaibav more irritated than he already was. He said '"just stop it grandma........this would not have happened if you three didn't push me to marry her.................this would not have happened if you had included her and got her opinion in every decision you made relating to our marriage..............this wouldn't have happened if you had not chosen such a weak-minded girl for me.........so stop putting it on me...........and stop asking god to clean this mess cause the only way to stop our family from not losing our face is to get a bride to replace this runaway bride by twomorrow evening without any of our business rivals knowing about it......so stop it....... just stop acting so pathetic ...... grandma god is not gonna throw a bride at me for me to marry just because I ask for it." as soon as he finished saying these words everyone became silent, looking at each other's face with confusion.

Just then, Thamana popped up. She just let herself into the car and sat beside Vaibav. Everyone were even more confused about what was happening as Vaibav just shouted five seconds ago about where to find a bride and a girl with a bridal blouse, bridal makeup and hair dressed in bridal fashion with jeans and jacket, which is a weird combination, thus they were stunned for a moment. But before they could ask her anything, Thamana explained about how she was forced by her father and stepmother to marry an old guy as his third wife for money and power and how she escaped and is being chased as quickly as possible without a gap and asked Vaibav to help her escape the goons by hiding her in their car till they are gone after which she will go out on her own...........after listening to her none of them spoke as they still in a daze while Vaibav was just looking.......more like staring at Thamana's face.........the goons noted the two cars at the junction and approached it. Seeing them come near her Thamana quickly pulled out her mom's saree and vaguely draped it around her and the veil which was initially prepared for Thamari was lying there next to Vaibav, so she put it on her after removing the jacket and sat very close to Vaibav and held his hand............leaning on o his shoulder, she begged him to act like she was his to-be-wife so that the goons will go away. She begged him to make sure they do not lift the veil covering her face...........she said "please help me ...I cannot be caught after all that i went through to escape them...........ill forever be grateful to you and am also willing to repay you in any way possible if it's within my capacity.....so please help me". As this conversation was going on in the car, the bodyguards were stopping the goons from approaching the car. What started as a verbal fight is now escalating into a physical fight. Vaibav ordered his guards to stop fighting and let them check. The head of the goons sensed that the bodyguards were not just any cheap local hire.........they were highly trained professionals and the person sitting inside instructing them might be a person of high importance and that there is no reason for them to help a runaway girl. But still he wanted to give it a check so he asked his boys to not behave too rudely while checking................... Vaibav asked the bodyguards to allow only one guy near the car to check. When the guy came near the car door, Thamari held Vaibav's hand and pressed it unconsciously, as she was nervous. Vaibav kept his hand on Thamana's hand and told her that he will help her and that she can relax.
