14 Derelict drifting between Stars
I WATCH AS THE SMALL craft is towed into the landing bay by the torch ship piloted by Loki. Ship's sensors discovered it drifting in interstellar space, and when we investigated, we discovered that it was nonfunctioning and definitely not of human origin.
A few minutes later, Loki calls me with an update on the ship. "This is an undersized ram-scoop ship, with an overpowered laser system which is obviously used both to vaporize asteroids and as a weapon. There is no crew housing, this is obviously a probe or mechanical attack craft, or an exploration craft from a really paranoid species.
