When Richard was arranging his marriage proposal to Eolly, he was exceedingly worried. He contacted Lewis to prepare everything while he went to the jewelry store to buy Eolly an engagement ring after they got to the office after lunch early.
After Rachel insisted on inviting him to her apartment when their child arrived, he was reluctant to continue his proposition. He was aware of her plans and would not allow them to be carried out.
