“You are her sugar—I mean her boyfriend? I didn't know that you are—Why would you date her, Daddy?” Linda's eyes were filled with surprise. She didn't know what to say as she looked back and forth between the two of us.
"Hmm, I don't think I owe you an explanation," Gustavo said coldly to her. Linda doesn't know what to say at all. She just looked at me and seemed to be judging with her eyes. I grinned at her. No matter what she thinks, I don't think she can say it to Gustavo's face.
She was about to speak again but the expression on Gustavo's face was hard. He looks like he doesn't have time to hear her bullshit. Linda just bit her lip hard. I saw her pinching her hands as well. Almost wants to bite it like she usually does when she's in an uncomfortable situation.
