Aloki's POV "You have the courage to brag and leave the house but here you are coming back anyway," Linda said with a smirk to me. I just clenched my fist there. Calm yourself down, Aloki. The anger you are feeling doesn't have any space in your mind right now. Your son needs you. “Right. I thought you wouldn't come back anymore, Aloki? You have already cut ties with us.” My mother looks at me coldly. There was no adoration in her eyes. I know that she doesn't really care at all about me but seeing her like this makes me think that I was right about my decision. I left our home 3 years ago. After Linda and Joaquin cheated on me, I realized that my mother also knew. They are in our house most of the time. Just thinking about it makes my heart hurt even more. If it's just me, I have no intention of coming back here. But my son needed me. I can't afford to use any money for myself. Just a place to live. I won't ask for anything. My pride can't ask for forgiveness because I'm not guilty. I know it was the best decision I had ever made. "I'm also Daddy's daughter, Mommy, you can't just chase me away from here," I said angrily. I know I also have a right to our house. That's our father's home. I don't want to get angry at this restaurant but they are forcing me to. "But you cut ties, Aloki. You are the one who said you don't want to have a relationship with us anymore," Mommy said, slowly forming a feral grin on her face. "We already sold the house." My lips parted at what Linda said. She boredly looked at me while sipping on her drink. "What did you say?" "I said we already sold the house. I'm already married. Mommy's already going abroad. You don't have any place in our home now." She laughed at me. I just clenched my fist. Since I have nothing to gain from them, I should just go. I can't afford to waste time with them. "Good for the two of you then." I briefly looked at them. They look like they are waiting for my reaction. "Joaquin wouldn't mind if you lived with us," Linda had a mocking smirk while staring at my reaction. Oh, looks like those two cheaters are still together, huh? However, I don't really care now. "I'm saying that you can live with us unless you still have feelings for my husband," she said, raising her eyebrows at me. Who would have a feeling for that jerk? I realize that my love just makes that person special but the truth is there's nothing special about that i***t. He's disgusting. I don't even know why I liked him back then and ignored all the red flags about him. "Sure, Sweetie. That would be appreciated if you could help your elder sister.” I gave her my sweetest smile. Well, a little bit sarcastic. I saw her glaring at me because of that. She frowned a little so I only let out a wide grin. That's what really happened. I live with them. Mommy went abroad and I was left alone trying to live with my f*****g disgusting sister. I hated asking for help. My pride can't handle it, but I don't have a choice, especially since I need money for my son's hospitalization. Ravi is still comatose right now. He is already stable now but he hasn't woken up yet. We got into an accident a month ago. To this day, I still blame myself for the incident. We were supposed to go to his school when an uncontrolled truck got out of control. The driver is still being sought. I was also hospitalized for a week. All my savings for Ravi went to the hospital. I even sold our simple house in the city. I don't know where to look for money. I thought we were already fine with our lives. We enjoy our simple life in the city. Our life is just so fun. We are both fine. I'm fine even if it's just us. But all of those things I built from scratch broke into pieces just like that. I don't know what I will do if I lose my child. I won't be able to take it. "What are you doing, Aloki? You are not here as our visitor, you also choose to work for us! Hurry up and help with all the things that need to be done.” I closed my eyes and just tried to calm myself down. I can't lash out here. I'm not used to someone trampling on my pride but I don't have a choice. I can let them step on it just so I can stay. At first, Linda just ordered me around while giving me money until she made me her maid. I let her. I needed it. At night, I worked in the Temptation Bar. I somehow managed to pay for the hospital bill. I almost only come home here to work. When I finish work at Temptation Bar, I always visit my son. "Linda is always a witch when it comes to you," a maid at Linda's house, Analyn, whispered to me. I laughed a little at that before shaking my head. She is. She enjoys torturing me. There's a party for Joaquin's promotion. Well, that one still loves to party. Probably because he knows that even if he got fired in their office, he still has backup. His Dad. I bit my lip hard before taking his father out of my mind. Even this house is his father's house. I don't even know if his Dad usually comes home because I've been there for a few weeks but I haven't seen even the shadow of him. I just put those things out of my mind before I continued my work. Later on, Joaquin's guests also arrived with him. Linda immediately approached and kissed him on the lips. Some guests teased while Joaquin laughed softly before he held her hips and when he saw me looking, he stared at me before smirking. I didn't look away. I don't really care that much about whatever they'll do. When my eyes got drawn to the door, it seemed that I was slowly becoming a statue in my place. I saw Ravi's Dad, my son's dad. He was wearing a black slack and a black long sleeve with the first three unbuttoned. His hair is a mix of black and white while his beard is also white. Still, remember how that beard rubbed into my—f**k, Aloki! Stop thinking about dirty things. He still looks hella hot. He looks like a Greek God, who can rule over people. He still has elegance with every movement that can intimidate others. When our eyes met, like before, he just had that stoic expression. His face is only expressive in bed. I wonder what his expression will be when he realizes that he has a son with me? "Daddy," Joaquin called him. Gustavo. Ravi's Dad and also the father of my ex.
