I'm not surprised Lewana either found out or worked out about Mary and me. She's always been intuitive. I still felt guilty for it though. I'm Lewana's Beta. She always comes first. My life should be dedicated to her. But Mary gave me something I hadn't had in years. Personal connection.
I think back to my mate and my life before her death. I liked her and she liked me but I don't know if I would call it love. More survival.
