Moments ago in the Magic Kingdom.
King Merlin was out on the field with several Magicians moving to and fro around him.
“How is the casualty?” He asked walking into a large tent where several magician could be seen tending to others, some of which were even humans.
“Well, the casualties are minimal, actually lower than that recorded in the two initial clashes and they are mostly humans. It seems the Vampires are really starting to feel the heat, my lord.” A blue haired Witch replied and King Merlin nodded with a satisfied smile.
Suddenly, a figure rushed into the tent from the side before whispering something into the King’s ear and the King’s eyes darkened.
“I wonder what that silver haired b***h is doing.” The King muttered in irritation, staring into the distance for a moment before looking at the blue haired Magician.
“Meet me in the Purple Tent, Leader Ava.” The king said, walking towards a large purple tent in the distance.
Inside, the two other leaders were already waiting for the King.
“I am glad you are here already.” King Merlin spoke sitting on a large chair.
“Indeed my King, so what is the urgent matter?” the red eyed warlock asked, with slight frown.
“Well, the humans gave information that the one known as Bone Demon seems to have start the production of the synthetic blood once again. This time, they are afraid to act since the Bone Demon now had a helper, one even more terrifying than himself.” The King stated.
“Uh, a helper even more terrifying than he is. Who could that be?” Leader Ava asked, in surprise.
“You might not believe it, but this helper turned out to be the silver-haired witch. The very one supposed to kill him.” King Merlin stated, and the eyes of all the leaders widened in great incredulity.
“What the hell, what happened to all that promise to get rid of him?” The green haired leader spoke.
“Damn it, the Bone Demon is already a great trouble on his own, with that spatial witch helping him, I fear getting rid of them both might really prove to be almost impossible now.” Another said.
“Well, not unless the King acts, which I think he should.” The red haired leader said looking at the king worriedly.
“Indeed, I should act.” The King said looking into the distance for moment before standing, “I have always known I would have to get rid of that bastard silver head, but I thought it would be after she had gotten rid of the Bone Demon. Still, it doesn’t matter much now, nothing matters.” The king said, with a large grin as he stared at his hands. “After all, I have the absolute predator with me, I have the ancient Black Dragon”, the King declared before walking out of the tent.
“King Merlin, should we proceed on the next attack if you don’t make it back before then.” Leader Ava asked and the King turned sideways, looking at her before chuckling.
“I won’t be gone for long.” The King stated before opening his hands and purple light glowed on it as a large portal began to enlarge midair.
From within the portal, a titanic head peeked through, its terrifying maw releasing an absolute roar into the sky as it emerged fully from within the portal, its humongous wings casting a gigantic shadow over the ground.
All the magicians around paused in whatever they were doing as they stared towards the Dragon, their face filled dread, adoration and great trepidation.
With a smile, King Merlin jumped up into the Dragons back before its humongous wings moved raising a great wind, which sent some unsuspecting magicians off their feet, as they crashed into the distance.
“Anytime I see that, I feel both fear and respect.” One of the leaders, the green haired one said looking on into the distance.
“Me too, Glen. I actually think the King is right, he won’t be gone for long.” Leader Ava said.
“Well, I think so as well, but whatever the case, we will fight this evening. We can’t let the Vampires have any respite and we don’t always have to depend on the King.” The red haired leader said.
Ushar materialized in a forest and he sighed before looking around, “just like I thought, I appeared within the portal’s vicinity.” He muttered, before moving rapidly forwards within the trees.
Somewhere within the forest, a group of five was hung on branches as they gazed into the distance with thinned gaze.
“Freeze guys, we have an intruder.” One of them, a muscular man with yellow iris suddenly spoke and the rest stiffened, all looking at the man inquisitively.
However, their gaze soon caught a figure moving on the ground, the figure walked past the tree moving some steps forwards before pausing and then retracing his steps back, stopping right under the tree before slowly looking up, and his eyes were dark as night.
Ushar had noticed something amiss in the forest the instant he appeared there, a scent was lingering in the air and everything about the scent was wrong, it was unusually faint but Ushar senses were too powerful to not notice it, the scent of the Were-wolves.
“Are some of the wolves attempting to break away?” He muttered, walking on.
This forest was nearest to the Witch Kingdom but farthest from the Beast Kingdom, in fact the Beast Kingdom was located in a part of the underworld that was relatively isolated compared to the Blood or the Witch Kingdom. The only reason that could make any Vampire or Werewolf move around here was to use the portal, a right that was only reserved for the Alphas or Kings of the supernatural races.
The scent however turned stronger the further he walked when suddenly, Ushar noticed the scent turning weaker.
Pausing, he calmly took some steps back reaching the very region where the scent was at its strongest before looking up into the tree, there, he could five pair of eyes looking back at him.
“Hello friend.” The yellow eyed man on the tree eventually spoke with a smile, before jumping down in front of Ushar.
