In another part of the Monster Dimension…
Aria lay with her back against a large tree surrounded by a muddy swamp with patches of green fungus everywhere.
Through her skin, several green veins bulged as if threatening to burst out n and the Aria’s body spasm from time to time.
Suddenly, a swarm of laser jets appeared in the air above before descending onto the tree on which she lay.
Aria’s eyes opened looking at them and this time, a tint of green could be spotted in her eyes before they closed again.
Suddenly, thick green tentacles burst out from below the ground grabbing the incoming laser jets and sending them smashing into each other as they crashed off into the distance with great power. Soon, the group of ten laser jets in the sky disappeared before the tentacles receded into the swamp and everything went back normal.
Back on Earth…
In a dim room where three people, two men and a woman stood. The three had just watched the laser jets got destroyed by some vines and they were left stunned.
Suddenly, a man wearing a bland, dark mask walked into the room before speaking, “that is a beast of supreme tier. I guess you humans have never engaged one but it would be good to just leave it alone. The Witch you are after is already its prey, she will die anyway so don’t stir trouble.” The man said before walking out of the room while the humans exchanged another gaze before gulping.
In the Monster Dimension…
Ushar looked up into the sky and he could see it was still night, now, it was the twelfth hour since reaching this planet and it seems the day and night here was really different from Earth’s cycle just as he thought.
Even now however, he still hadn’t found Aria. On his back, a bag made from a monster’s skin could be seen and all the cores he had gathered were stored in it.
With a sigh, he walked forwards looking for a suitable tree to rest on when his body stiffened.
Meow!
A monster’s cry suddenly reached his ear but it was not the cause for Ushar’s reaction. The reason Ushar had stiffened was that, in front of him, he could see an exact replica of the first tree he had encountered on entering this Monster dimension.
“Was I walking in a circle all along?” Ushar muttered looking back at the path he had taken but what appeared in his vision was vastly different than he had expected.
“Damn!” He cursed, but his hand had risen in a split second knocking away the large claw which was silently swiping towards his neck. Ushar staggered back with his whole body covered in cold sweat, if not for his newly gained agility and extremely quick reflexes, he might have really been missing a neck now.
He however wondered how the monster could even bypass his detection, in fact, it didn’t, only now did Ushar remembered hearing a slight cat cry but he had simply ignored it with the thought that it was probably some wandering monster.

“So that is it.” Ushar muttered now realizing why the tiny dark cat in front of him had almost taken his life. It was an intermediate tier monster built specifically for speed and lethality.
The cat gave a meow before turning to flee but Ushar blasted forwards gripping it in an instant before decapitating it. After all, the gap between their powers was too far apart, these were Ushar’s stat after distributing the fifteen stat points he had gained.

“I need your crystal.” He muttered, before removing a round dark crystal from inside the beast’s body and adding it to the bunch on his back. Actually, Ushar had killed over fifty beasts within this night alone but to his unfortunate surprise, he only got a free stat point for his first kill at a particular tier. After the first basic beast he had killed, Ushar hadn’t been awarded a stat point for any other basic beast and after killing the first intermediate beast, he had been awarded ten stat points and then nothing more for those killed afterward. Just like that, his hope of becoming unimaginable strong in this journey was dashed.
Sighing, Ushar turned back to the tree in the distance, just like the tree from earlier; he could always see a muddy swamp surrounding this particular tree.
“I guess I was really walking in a circle, but this isn’t necessarily bad anyway. I have gathered enough cores and it’s time to rest, I should just keep my cores on the tree and concentrate on finding Aria after a good rest.” Ushar decided, walking towards the tree with his sight set on the delicious red fruits on it, he couldn't wait to devour them.
Sometimes later…
Ushar’s eyes fluttered open before widening as he sprang up from his lying position.
“When did I sleep off?” He muttered with a groan, feeling extremely lethargic.
[Strange substance has been detected in the User’s bloodstream]
[All stats have been decreased by fifty percent]
The strange urge to sleep was immediately disappeared from Ushar’s brain on seeing this, “fifty percent decrease in all stat.” this was simply crippling. Alarms bells immediately went ringing in Ushar’s brain before he looked around searching for something.
He soon found a bag lying above his head but picking it, Ushar’s gaze turned incredulous as he found the bag empty. All the cores in it had disappeared.
“What the hell!” He exclaimed, springing up the branch and looking around, there was really no core anywhere, everything had disappeared into thin air.
“Or was it all a dream? But the damn bag is here, if it was a dream it wouldn’t be right and when did I even start dreaming?” Ushar muttered in confusion.
“Damn it, I have to calm down.” He said, calmly sitting on the tree to think about his problem, “the first problem is that, Aria is nowhere to be found, that solution is that I have to find her. The second problem is that a strange substance has penetrated my body, probably through eating or breathing, I guess I would have to look into those. And the third problem is the strange disappearance of the core, this might actually be connected to the second problem, something might have come here while I was sleeping and poisoned me while also stealing my cores.” Ushar soliloquize in deep thought. Thinking about it more however, the second and third problems were both linked to one thing, the strange sleep.
