I WAS GOING TO SAVE KILLING YOU FOR LATER

They stared at each other for a moment before Ushar’s eyes widened, “Damn!” He exclaimed, lowering himself over the girl, as some rockets shot into them from above but now, he could not even think of anything else but to protect the silver-haired girl below him. “Stupid.” He heard the girl say as her warm breath caressed his cheek before reality warped in his vision and when it cleared, he was on top of his house while Aria was no more under him. “What!” He muttered, springing up to see the girl standing by his side with her gaze fixed on the combat jets in the sky. “Did you teleport me over here?” He asked, slightly bewildered. “You should try to save your life first before asking questions, the enemies are still around.” Aria replied, before raising her hands and Ushar watched a large silver portal opened in front of a jet, into which it disappeared and when the jet appeared again, it was in front of another one. With great force, both collided blooming into a large cloud of flame and Ushar’s jaw almost dropped. “Ushar, who is that?” he suddenly heard Linda asked, from the side as she lowered a launcher in her hand with tired face. “She… well, an enemy, or maybe a friend.” He replied, before kicking off the ground latching into another jet and another cloud of flame bloomed in the sky. Soon, Ushar landed on the ground, before looking into the sky with tired face, all the combat jets were had been destroyed, with their burning parts strewn all around. The top of the mountain on which he was standing had also been disfigured with the unceasing rocket and without doubt, his apartment would not be in the same state he had left it. [Quest] [Leave no survivor – Successful – A level up has been earned, spin the wheel to choose which skill levels up] Ushar was quite excited on seeing this but the sound of approaching footsteps reached his ears and Ushar looked to the side, it was Linda. “Now, why does that face look familiar?” Linda asked, her face not in the least hiding her distaste on seeing the silver-haired girl and Ushar sighed. Somehow, he felt like putting the system message aside might be necessary for now Suddenly, he saw Linda staggered back as a strange tremor shook the mountain and Ushar moved in a moment holding her close and steady before looking around with alarmed face. “What is that?” He asked, as the mountain’s tremble turned even more vigorous and a voice answered him from the side. “It is a volcano.” Aria voice calmly spoke. “What! Please teleport her along with you, I will join you guys.” Ushar spoke and Aria looked at Linda in Ushar hand before shaking her head, “I won’t.” she said, simply, before disappearing. “The hell!” Ushar shouted, before giving a pained look to his apartment for a moment and then leaping off the mountain top with Linda in his aems, held in the princess style. Ushar landed calmly on the ground before leaping off again. After a series of great jumps, Ushar stopped on the top of a small hill about some hundred miles away from the Volcano. Several drones could be seen roving through the sky, and without doubt, the media had caught on to this. From the mountain, he watched bright red lava and a thick cloud of smoke spurting repeatedly out from the mountain on which his house had once stood. A large chunk of the mountain top had been torn away by the eruption and now the sky was covered in dark smoked blocking the already scanty light of the receding sun, it was dusk. “I am really curious—how did you manage to survive?” Ushar suddenly heard a voice spoke behind him and he did not need to search as Aria’s figure walked to his side. Still looking at the burning mountain in the distance, Ushar replied, “I ran very fast, I gu…” “I wasn’t asking you.” The girl interrupted and Ushar looked at her with raised brow before noticing she was in fact looking downward. “Uh, Linda.” He muttered, remembering the girl was in fact still in his arm, held like a bride. Gently, he released Linda who stood on her feet while still glaring back at the silver haired girl. “How did I manage to survive?” Linda repeated with thin eyes, “now, I see you were indeed the one who sent the magicians. You were the one who destroyed my family.” Linda spoke, her voice laced with venom. “Uh, so what if I did? What will you do?” Aria asked looking at Linda with a condescending smile. Slowly, her face morphed into one of murderous anger, “You bastards came for me when all I ever did was help a person in need. You took my father from me when all I ever had was him, you bastard humans were always betrayals and murderers and you dare stand in front of me to talk.” Aria paused, closing her eyes from which a single line of tears trailed down, “Now that I think about it, even you are not allowed to exist.” She said, opening her eyes and now there were glowing silver as she floated off the ground. Her hand flashed in air and Ushar could not help remember Greg’s death. In an instant, he flashed in front of Linda shielding her with his body before seeing a thin line carved into the bone armor on his chest. It was only a shallow line but Ushar was very well aware that whatever could create even a mark on the bone amour would sliced through a human easily, after all even though this bone amour looked like bone, it was as hard as diamond. “Aria, there are people who are not allowed to be killed. It doesn’t matter if they are wrong or right. For me, Linda is one of those people and unfortunately, she is the only one lef… actually there are two more. This three, I will never let them die, even at the cost of my life. Forgive me Aria but you are not allowed to kill her.” Ushar spoke and Aria’s silver eyes thinned. “How dare you stop me! You I was going to save killing you for later but you are pushing it now.” Aria said, her hand glowing with great power.
