Ushar slowly turned away from the clouds and staring towards the woman, he replied, “What is wrong with going to the Underworlds, I am an adventurer” he answered and the woman brows scrunched for a moment.
“You think I am a fool right?” The woman asked after sometimes.
“Fool? Why would I think you are a fool?” Ushar asked the woman who gave a slight smile.
“No one goes to the Underworld just to explore, definitely not a human.” She stated.
Ushar looked back at the floating clouds before eventually speaking, “well, you are right and I told the half-truth. I am not going just to explore, I am going as a child who longs to see his home once again, I am going back to check on my people.” Ushar said and he felt the air carrier wobbles for a second.
“Easy there.” He said looking at the flustered woman with a smirk, the woman seemed to have been shocked for a moment.
“You should know when to joke Mister Ushar, going to the Underworlds is no small deal, that place is inhabited by supernatural creatures with power to topple the human world in a moment. More so, you are visiting the Blood Kingdom, the home of the Vampires.” The woman said and Ushar chuckled again.
“You seem to have some special regard for Vampires.” He noted.
“Regards, trust me, even visiting the Beast Kingdom is better than going into the midst of those Bloodsuckers and I actually fail to understand why any sane human would choose to visit any place other than the Magic Kingdom in the Underworld.” The woman spoke.
“Well, I told you my reason and I think it is perfectly understandable.” Ushar replied with a gentle smile plastered on his face.
“So, you really want me to believe you were some Vampire who was somehow lost from home and now you are going back to visit your home” The woman retorted looking on to her front.
“I don’t want you to believe it. Your thoughts wouldn’t change my past or affect my future in any way.” Ushar said looking at the distance, where the dark underworld was slowly being unveiled before him.
“Yeah, it wouldn’t. But I still think a young man like you could do well with these few words. Even if you are rejected by the one you love most, seeking to die is not the solution. Trust me, you should open your heart and you will find another, even more worthy, they will cherish you just like you cherish them and finally you would find peace.” The Woman said and Ushar’s face slowly turned livid startling the woman.
“What do you know about rejection, how dare you lecture me on love?” He scowled, glaring at her and again, he could feel the air carrier quaking slightly.
“Get a hold.” Ushar screamed internally to himself, before shutting his eyes and taking a deep breath. He actually understood people like this woman, they had a very great sense of responsibility and would always go out of their way to help others that even those they were trying to help would start to feel burdened, it wasn’t their fault just their nature.
“Sorry for my outburst.” He eventually spoke and the woman nodded, her body trembling slightly as she tried to focus on the landing.
Soon, Ushar could feel the small air carrier landing softly on the ground and the door to its side opened.
“Whatever your story, be aware that Vampires will suck a human dry on sight, you would want to wear the scent mask, face mask and also avoid any interaction with them.” The woman said, handing a box to Ushar who smirked before stepping off the carrier onto the ground. “Very well then, meet me back here in three days, if you manage to survive that long anyway.” She said before stepping down as well.
Ushar had a large grin on his face as he looked around, from above he could see a gigantic aircraft landing on the ground and his face constricted. He could smell many humans in the aircraft and without doubt, they were all going to be delivered to the Blood Kingdom as food, after all Vampires needed human blood to survive.
Sighing, he could now understand why the woman spoke about the Vampire with so much hatred. To Vampires, humans were just like cattle to be slaughtered and consumed even though they had been greatly restricted by humans.
This was one of the deals the humans had to agree to, after a long period of war between the supernatural creatures and humans which had almost destroyed the whole of the human civilization.
“Well they just have to accept the reality and make the most out of their lives in the Underworld, they will only be required to donate blood once in a while” Ushar muttered moving on. Actually while that was only half-true, there were also several dangers for a human living in the Underworld.
Especially when some young Vampires decided to go wild, some would even start f*******n relationship with humans. Such relationship were however not very disastrous since they wouldn’t be able to produce any off springs, well… except for Ushar’s case.
Ushar’s thoughts was suddenly interrupted by the system.
