CAPTURED

Ushar’s face however turned grave on hearing Greg’s words, if the report was true then it meant this attack wasn’t even conducted by the government as he had thought. It was instead the handiwork of the Magicians but again, why would the Magicians attack the Seer Mercenaries. “Don’t tell me…” He muttered, as the words of the Magician King came rewinding in his mind, “…you messed with the wrong Witch.” “Was there a silver-haired girl among them? The target you tried to kill.” He suddenly asked and Greg raised a brow. “Oh, why are you asking, do you expect her to be there?” he asked back. “Yes, I…” Ushar paused as a sudden drowsiness assaulted his mind. [Strange substance detected in user’s body!] [No resistance able to neutralize strange substance] [User’s body going into unresponsive mode] “What have you done?” he thundered, blasting forwards in an instant but just before reaching Greg, he collided into something solid and several cracks appeared mid-air or was it mid-air? There had in fact been a glass wall between him and Greg, it was just so transparent that it had become invisible. On Greg’s face, an anxious smile had appeared but soon, he could see Ushar collapsing back into the ground and he sighed. “Linda.” Greg shouted, looking to the side from where a lady in Nurse Uniform approached. It was Linda and she had an oxygen mask over her nose as she moved towards the unconscious Ushar. “You were right about the dose girl. This bastard is really a monster, a normal person shouldn’t even be able to take in a hundredth dose before sleeping. Make sure to keep him asleep, we should deliver him to the Magicians as soon as possible before things go wrong.” Greg said and Linda nodded. “Yes Boss.” She said dragging Ushar’s body away. Hours later… Ushar groaned feeling his head pound inside of him, as his eyes open to a blurry world. Great pain and weakness assaulted his body as even keeping his eyes open felt like a strenuous endeavor. [User is being affected by silver] [Healing is reduced by 50%] [Health: 10%] [Energy is critically low] ~ New Quest ~ [Survive the Magician’s encirclement] [Find out the Magician’s mission in the human world] [Kill as many enemies as you can] Closing his eyes back for a moment, he opened them again and now, his sight was back to normal. Several trees could be seen all around him and looking down at his body, Ushar could see he had been tied to one of the tree. His body was bound by a thick cord from which silver spikes jutted out digging into his flesh. “Silver!” Ushar thought trembling and just then, feelings started to return to his body as the silver stung like venom while his body had turned bloodied all over, Ushar felt the weakest he had ever felt in his life. Several scents hit his nose from above and Ushar slowly looked up to see a blue haired man perched on top of a tree branch. His eyes caught a couple of others as well, all possessing hairs of distinct colors and dressed in solid looking armors, their helmets were also resting beside them. Without doubt they were all Magicians. Looking more at the tree, Ushar suddenly felt it was quite familiar. In fact this whole place looked quite familiar and thinking more, he realized when he had seen this before. It was after trailing the Silver haired girl into this forest and then, he had watched her disappear into the same gigantic tree in front of him. “What is it with this place, why are they all perched on the tree?” Ushar thought in question, “and how did I even get here in the first place?” He wondered on before memories came flooding back to him. He had felt a sudden drowsiness and in alarm, he had charged towards Greg only to impact an invisible wall which sent him crashing back into the ground. He remembered hearing the young man shouted Linda’s name as well before his consciousness turn blank. “That bastard?” He muttered with great anger before closing his eyes again. Anger could not help him in his current state, instead he had to channel his limited energy to finding a way out of his current situation. “The Hybrid seems to be coming awake.” A Warlock on the tree suddenly observed and they all turned to look at Ushar’s trembling figure. “Where is the human?” A Witch among them asked after sometimes. “He has been ordered to stay out of the forest, Captain. He might die at the sight of King Merlin’s Dragon.” Another replied chuckling. “King Merlin’s Dragon, speaking as if the King tamed the Dragon already…” The Captain muttered with an amused smile. “Well, I have never doubted our King.” The Warlock replied and the Captain’s eyes went hard. “I am not doubting him either.” She retorted sharply before turning back to Ushar, her eyes glowed for a moment before she shook her head. “He will kill the human if he dares go near him, so you go Werner, go and spell him to sleep.” The Captain spoke to the Warlock. “Okay Captain.” The Warlock said, nodding before jumping off the tree and moving towards Ushar whose eyes were still closed while his body trembled all over in great anguish. Reaching in front of Ushar, the Warlock’s hand glowed in mystifying purple light before he pushed out his hand towards Ushar’s head just as his eyes yanked opened, they were entirely black. [Will of Stone activated] “Freeze.” He commanded, the Warlock whose eyes widened as his hands froze for a moment in the air. The magicians were generally mentally powerful because they solely relied on controlling magical energy to fight which demanded great mental strength. The purple haired magicians were however, so strong that they could even control other magicians, that was because their power dealt with the soul, hence the Warlock could have never believed a Vampire would be able to put him under mind control. A belief which turned to be a grave mistake. Before the Warlock could recover, Ushar’s hand had ripped through the cord around him as he grabbed into the Warlock’s head and his fangs pierced through his throat, hungrily sucking the Warlock’s blood. [Energy: 100,000/125,000] “Well, the King said he was glad I didn’t meet you, let’s see what is there to fear about you.” The Captain spoke jumping to the ground and looking at Ushar with murderous expression.
