Before she could accomplish it, however, she had been captured by a strange mercenary and delivered to the Magician King, a descendant of the same Warlock against whom her own ancestor the Silver Witch had fought.
History however, would not repeat itself, instead of risking her life and fighting the Magician King, she would instead help him. She would free the Dragon and let the Magician King bond with it. He would eventually go mad and set the whole world on fire and she would watch it all happen in glee.
After everything she would build a new world from the ruins and ashes.
Soon, Aria reached a large chamber within the mountain and she smiled.
The chamber’s walls were made of bubbling magma and a sea of magma could be seen below. Six large chains could be seen originating from a silver sphere at the center of the chamber which pulsed in and out like a heart, releasing great amount of power with each pulse.
This sphere was in fact the source of the power that imprisoned the Dragon and now, Aria was going to get rid of it, once and for all.
She floated forward, reaching the sphere before putting her hands by its side. Silver tendrils slowly extended from the sphere along her arms before converging into her heart. With time however, the tendrils turned into stream covering the whole of Aria’s body as her body trembled.
Aria was absorbing the energy in this sphere and she could feel her body her whole self being invigorated. Her soul hungrily consumed the power but soon, it was being saturated. In fact, since she discovered this place, she had begun to grow powerful at a tremendous rate and eventually broken through, now she could feel herself reaching the limit but the sphere energy seemed infinite.
However, it only seems infinite since only nothing was truly infinite. The sphere energy had eventually been reduced to such level that she could feel this world wouldn’t hold for much longer.
The world quaked violently as the sea of magma below her turned restless. In a silver flash Aria disappeared appearing mid-air as she stared at the Dragon in the distance.
“I have weakened the chains! Break it!” she screamed and the Dragon’s hellish eyes turned towards her before it gave a mighty roar swinging its tail up as it yanked violently on the chain on it and released a mighty torrent of black flames into the sky.
The sky turned even more turbulent as bolts of lightning as thick as a tree trunks struck down into the Dragon and even onto the mountain below it which shuddered violently as magma spurted out from its peak slashing into the Dragon’s scales but not a single burn could be seen on its gleaming scale. The wound inflicted on the Dragon by the lightning instead healed up even faster.
“I am here.” Aria suddenly heard a whisper in her ear and she smiled.
Raising a hand forward, a circular portal appeared mid-air and through it a purple haired man stepped out looking all around with great marvel.
It was King Merlin, the Magician King.
The Magician King was also floating mid-air before turning back and his face scrunched.
“That’s is what you want right? Go ahead, bond it” Aria spoke to the King.
Slight uncertainty could be seen on King Merlin’s face but there was excitement as well.
“Very well then, Lady Aria, wish me good luck” he said before shooting forwards like a purple ray.
The purple ray impacted the Dragon’s body and it stiffened for a moment before releasing several roars of anger and its body thrashed around mid-air.
A purple hue appeared in its eyes for a moment before disappearing at the next instant. A purple shroud suddenly covered its whole body and slowly, the Dragon stiffened again before the King’s figure materialized again, this time looking slightly fatigued but also triumphant.
“I did it.” The King declared standing over the Dragon’s head before looking at the chains.
“The seal is still not completely broken.” He said looking at Aria who nodded before disappearing and appearing by the chains over the Dragon’s head.
Gripping the chains, her whole body shone silver for a moment and the chains could be seen fracturing in her hands, soon the chain holding the Dragon’s neck had disappeared entirely.
The silver flash on Aria body dimmed as she floated into the ground with slightly tired face, “the Dragon should be able to help itself with the rest” she spoke looking at the Magician King who smirked.
“Indeed.” He spoke. The only reason the Dragon hadn’t been able to destroy the chains was because its neck had been held in a way that it flames could not reach the chains but now, Aria had freed its neck.
The Dragon opened its humongous maw, facing towards the chain holding one of its wings and a torrent of black flames was released into it completely obliterating the chains and just like that, all other chains holdings it were destroyed.
The Dragon landed violently into the mountain which crumbled under its weight but there was still a chain on its tail. With a powerful flap of its wings, the Dragon pulled forward and the silver chain on its tail was shattered with brute force. Finally, the Dragon was free.
It gave a loud triumphant roar into the sky which had turned into a sea of lightning as this point. The ground in the place disintegrated as it seems the world was on the verge of self destructing.
“Get out now!” Aria shouted as a gigantic rift tore through the sky and she immediately shot out through it.
“I can feel you are weak Dragon, rest and when the time comes, I will show the world its true and only King.” The Magician King said as his hand glowed for a moment and a gigantic purple portal opened into which the Dragon flew and disappeared.
Looking up, the Magician King had a large smile on his face before he blasted upwards, moving through the rift just as the world below him crumbled.
