Allison's pov (still in past)

Matilda parked her car in the school garage once we reached school... it was 7:30 when we arrived. It's a 30mins drive from home to school but we had to make a stop at my favorite coffee shop... yeah I needed it for the day.

We got out, carrying our backpacks along and heading towards the school hall.

"I can't believe you guys have the balls to trick me" I said once we reached our lockers... or me and Hilda's lockers to be precised.

We are just two lockers apart, but Matilda's locker is on the other roll.

"it's first day of senior year, what do you expect?" Hilda said rolling her eyes.

I gave her a bored look before picking out my maths book nd text book.

i hate maths! shhh don't tell dad.

The bell rang and students started rushing off to their respective classes.

"c'mon let's go! " Matilda called from the other side.

"we don't have same class" I yelled back walking towards her with Hilda.

True!

Matilda has English and Hilda, chemistry.

"True but same way, now stop dragging your leg or you'll be.." she didn't finish her words before someone ran into her and her books fell down. I quickly grab the guy before he could run further.

"what's the rush? pants on fire? " I said with no smile nd the boy shook his head in fear. I think he's a freshman.

"I,, I,, I'm sorry, I'm just,, principal,, schedule,, class" he stammered.

I couldn't make use of the nonsense he was saying so I nod my head towards Matilda.

"you ran into her, apologize!" I said with a very serious face. He quickly ran back to Matilda apologizing continuously. All this while students were already gathered watching, so I yelled;

" Back to class, nothing to see here" and they immediately disappear. Ha! not really but they left though.

" sometimes I forget you can be intimidating, that boy was scared! God! he was visibly shaking " Hilda commented as we continued our walk to class. I shrugged.

"thanks"

"it wasn't a compliment Allison "

" nothing is wrong with what she did, oh righteous Hilda " Matilda defended and I smiled at her before frowning at Hilda.

" it's a new season, new class, new everything... no bullying" Hilda continued.

" can't promise that 'mum' " I mocked.

"this is where we part ways girls, see ya witches" I said and immediately took the path to maths class.

I entered the maths class same time with the maths teacher. He looked at me surprised. I don't blame him.

"your royal highness" he said faking a bow.

" Mr Daniels" I greeted while smiling like I just meet a movie star.

" Fancy seeing you here, are you lost?"

" it's a new season Mr Daniels, why the grudges" I feigned offended and walk into the class smirking. I took my seat close to a girl who wasn't a talkative, I guess! Thank God.

The class commence as Mr Daniels talks... sorry, I meant teaches about statistics. I think I stopped listening after he told us to open to,, umm what page again? I yawn feeling bored and I saw Mr Daniels shaking his head, disappointed.

Well, I'm not his best student or worse either, I think I'm in the middle but still on his bad side. I wonder why he hasn't complained to my Dad already, though I'm grateful but still curious because this man can keep grudges.

It's a new season. c'mon!

15mins through class, I raised my right hand up. Mr Daniels gave me a bored look before he asked;

" Any problem Miss Wayne?"

" I need to use the restroom" I replied bluntly.

" class still on Miss Wayne, can't you wait till I'm done? at least for a change?"

" At least I lasted 16mins, that's a change... can I go now?" I said checking time.

"fine " he sighed.

I quickly packed my books and walked out. But before I opened the door I heard him ask;

" Why are you with your books, class isn't over Allison!"

"Thank you Mr Daniels " I yelled and quickly left the class before he ask any more question.

I walked towards the rooftop, it's my favorite hiding spot. It had been restricted by the principal, so no one really comes up here except me. I would have drop my books in my locker but the Vice Principal parades the hall, and I can't afford to get caught... Dad will not be happy!

I push the door open, careful not to make any sound. I walked slowly looking around, this place hasn't changed much, only got dusty by the day. Oh, how I've missed this place.

The view here is great, looking down and watching the cars moving... having seen enough, I turned back to go sit on my usual sit, only to find it occupied!

What the hell!!!

" What the fu¢k are you doing here? don't you know this place is off limits?" I yelled.

The boy looked up from his book nd looked at me... and I melt.

Did I say boy? scratch that! this is a freaking Angel. His green emerald eyes struck me like lighting, it's beautiful..

He's beautiful!

Allison get your act together before it gets weird.

"Hi... seems like you broke the rule too" he said smirking.

The hottest smirk I've ever seen. Who is this angel? and what planet did he fall from? where again? heaven?

He watched me for a while before shaking his head and returns to his reading position. His face is angelic, I think an angel from heaven has lost his way.

Angel Gabriel no way home or was it spiderman? nevermind!

I cleared my throat from the awkwardness.

"Who are you and what's your business here? aren't you supposed to be in class?" I asked frowning.

"aren't you?" came the response without looking up.

"Why re u here?" I tried again.

"why are u here?" He replied smirking.

Ok, I get it now. he's trying to annoy me.

seems I can't intimidate him now.

I sighed and sat down on the space left.

"I'm Kaiden" I heard him say. I scoff.

"Allison"

"so you're a freshman?" I asked.

"what?"

"A freshman?" I repeated. getting bored.

"what... no, no" he chuckled and said;

" you don't know me?"

"should I?"

"damn! that's a first" I heard him say, more to himself. Of course I know who he is...

the moment he said his name I remember him.

The Greek god that fell from the sky, the crush of so many girls in Braxton High and is dating the queen B or more like queen of bit¢hes, Hailey Young. no offense but that girl and I don't get along at all. It's a mutual thing with understanding. She doesn't cross my lane and vice versa. Though, I hardly keep to my end.

kaiden's pov

Hearing her call me a freshman made me smile. I'm glad she's not one of my fan girls. I cringed.

Those girls got no job.

But did she really not know me or is she faking it. I watched her quietly as she stare into space, what's she thinking.

I guess since her intimidation didn't work she gave up. To be honest, she's quite intimidating for a girl, maybe she does that a lot but I'm not one to get intimidated.

I watched her face, she's very pretty with her blonde hair and hazel eyes... now I'm interested.

"stop. staring. at. me" she said not looking at me but I can hear the irritation in her voice.

"why? I stare when I see something beautiful" I tried but instead she gave me a hard glare.

Oh boy!

"Do those cheeky lines work for other girls? because that's boring" . Emotional damage! I stared at her in shock for a while before smiling.

Good!

"So, you come here often?" deciding to change the subject.

"isn't that obvious?" she fired. Geez, it's just a question, calm down!

so I to let her be, I focused on my book but my attention was on her, secretly.

"This has been my hiding spot any time I wanna get away from things or think about my life.." she paused and stared at me for a while before adding;

"what about you?"

"me? what about me?" I replied with a question. I know it will surely annoy her and with the way she's glaring at me, it did. I smirked.

"Geez! I was just messing with you... I came here to read and relax, and physics ain't my best subject"

" but Mr Ashford teaches well, love the teacher and you'll love the subject too... that's why I hate maths"

"I thought I was the only one who doesn't like that grumpy man"

"Nah, we're best friends " she said smiling and damn she has a beautiful smile that makes her eyes glow.

we heard the door creak and we both froze. Is it the Vice Principal? he's been on patrol since class started. Fu¢k! I don't want mum hearing I skip class.

The door opened and my two asshole friends walk in.

"Yo! I knew you'd be here, I told you Finn... now hand over your car key, can't believe I get to drive that sexy modaf**ker for a week" Ryker said excited.

Finn shook his head but hands over the key to Ryker who was jumping excitedly like a kid.

I can't believe this two bet for something like this... Ok, I can believe but still. I look over at Allison who was now staring at the boys like they each have watermelon for a head.

I think they do!

Allison's pov

I watched the two boys as they keep talking about car and key... I shook my head, now I know this boys are being over hyped.

I look over at Kaiden and he just shrugged like it's a normal thing, maybe it is.

I cleared my throat, they didn't hear, I did it again but no result and I lost it.

"HEY!" I yelled.

They both finally turned to me and noticed me for the first time.

"Who's she?" the one holding the car key asked. And the other just stare at me in silence.

I hate silence.

"Who am I? do you really wanna know who I am or you're gonna start talking why you two are up here" I walked towards them slowly like a predator.

I can see the guy with the key gulping and the silent guy moving backwards slowly.

"W..we are Kaiden's friends, Kaiden help us here, who's she by the way?" the key guy said trying to mask his fear.

I look at them closely with a squinted eyes.

"Next time, you knock... you get me?" they both nod at once.

I walked past them but stopped.

"wait why are you guys up here by the way?"

"It's lunch break, didn't you hear the bell?"

The silent guy finally talked.

I curved my mouth in an 'o' shape and shook my head slowly. I didn't hear the bell. I turned to Kaiden and he shook his head too. How did we not hear the bell?

Maybe we were too busy with whatever we were saying and miss the sound of the bell. I quickly ran downstairs without saying another words to the boys.

Hilda and Matilda must be waiting for me, oh sh!t

They'll skin me alive if they miss lunch.
